Wenn ich zum Auto treffen hin fahre kann ich nicht beim Showdowns beitreten, da schreibt er nur immer “Beitritt zur Sitzung nicht möglich. Bitte überprüfen sie ihre Netzwerkverbindungen und versuchen sie es erneut” aber zb. Autotour gehen aber.

Let me translate 
He drives into a car meet but he can’t take part in the showdown races. Error message tells him that he can’t join the session, he shall check his network settings.
From time to time the showdown races do work for him, other times not.
I would check your settings for sure.
Sometimes it let’s you start a showdown but only one showdown can be started at a time. On my game, sometimes the option for a showdown event is not present. If it is there, it works assuming at least a 2nd person joins. If no one joins the showdown, it will fail. To see if anyone has joined look at the player list and see who has a blue line next to their name.

If your NAT type is set to Strict it could limit the number of players you can potentially connect to.
