If you think that this car looks just like Mk2 Golf, but with sedan body, you’re correct. It is the sedan version of Mk2 Golf. Available in either 4-door (pictured above) or 2-door body, this was Volkswagen’s way of bringing more practicality and variety to Golf’s market. Unlike 1st generation, this 2nd (internally known as A2) switched to full 5 seats configuration (1st gen had 4 seats).
