In Flames is the name of a metal band, that’s their logo. So might just be that he wants the image he’s posted as is.

You do a half decent flame job don’t you, but I know you’ve semi retired from requests now. And that’s not a good thing, because you’re good. It’s a shame our health dictates what we can and can’t do some times.

Ahh, the master of flames. Love your work mate, a true flaming artist. You’re a painter of old school style custom paintwork where colour was used to enhance the shape and style of a car.
Didn’t you do some vids on flames?
To the OP, do a google for videos on YouTube for how to paint flames and you’ll find some excellent ones. And then give it a whirl yourself. But it’s a great idea to map it out in an ace or have something to go by to get the effect you want.

i didnt do any videos but i tried to make a tutorial in FH2 fantasy section wasnt sure if it helped anyone, but ill have to try another soon maybe for FH3.
I’m certain that they’ll be well received mate. Some of your liveries, if that’s what they can be really called, more like artwork, are well worth showing from start to finish.
It could give many younger or new psinters the motivation to turn their hands to trying to bring out their inner artist, or should we say, The Artist Within…lol

Totally agree mate. Flames, real flames that is, not to cookie cutter ones we have in the game, but real effective flames, take a certain skill level. A level that the average psinters just doesn’t have, yet.

As far as flames in general they are quite a challenge but each person has there own style of flames and how they do them. Just have to redo my tutorial again hopefully I’ll get it more in detail.
We’ll make sure you keep me posted mste about an ‘how-tos’ with anything that you might choose to do.

I don’t know if I’ve ever heard any of their stuff but the name rang a vague bell, anyways figured didn’t look difficult, so banged it out - 14 layers for the image we can see.
Figured the Op had tried to post another image that hadn’t worked, so looked around on Google images and came up with a text logo.
Had a crack at that as well - bit weightier at 262 layers.
Both of them have been shared file names are In Flames & In Flames 1 (such an imagination) description I think was In Flames Logo or In Flames text.
Anyway Op hopefully that was the sort of thing you were after, enjoy.

That’s a really good logo. I did the logo of Abbath, but it only took 40. I’m not an expert, to be fair.
I tried to make it before I requested it… it’s not as easy as it looks… and it has nothing to do with flames … it’s the logo for the band In Flames
