Currently if you open a group of shapes you have to collect all the shapes again and recreate the group when you’re done, which for me in a 500+ shape project can be really tedious. It would be so much better if groups were persistent so that they can easily be expanded and folded again without all the extra work.
Here’s how I see this working - Currently all shapes and groups are in one list, you can go up or down. How about you press right on a group to enter the group and left to go back. Also make sure that it remembers which shape I was last looking at so that I can easily bounce between shapes in one group and another without a tonne of scrolling every time.
It would also be very useful to hide groups without moving or deleting them. And this next thing is a slightly different topic it would be handy to have a colour picker to select a colour from the screen without needing to open a group and try to find a shape to check it’s colour then remember the numbers. This is currently a tedious thing because of how groups currently behave, it would be way less tedious if groups were persistent, so it’s not nearly as important but worth mentioning here rather than make a whole new thread.
