Update 19.0 Overview - Porsche Month | May 7 & 21 reward deadlines

No 919 Street or 911 by Gunther Werks, but I am happy to see the Pink Pig, GT3 R, and 992 Turbo S here. Also pleasantly surprised to see the OG Mobys and the 961 as well.

But for me, I’m most ecstatic about the GT350R audio update!

Don’t get your hopes up on non production vehicles like that. As cool as it would be, no one would know where to place it on the PI scale as there’s not even base specs available for it. Same with the ‘98 GT1 street version. Cars with limited real world data are usually OP (Lotus GT1 from Forza 7).

Anything new on Freeplay? :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

A post was split to a new topic: Crashing after Update 20

I have not even received my 2021 Lambo which won’t unlock from the velocity tour, the last event is unlocked but says I don’t own the car to enter. I re-ran the events started a ticket and not a peep from them and the event is ending tomorrow. This game is soo bug ridden, we should be getting massive bug fixes every update, but just more fomo stuff, some of which bugs out.

I hope they add a few features in the anniversary update. One being an auto upgrade option when go to upgrade any race car to the BoP spec for the division that it is in. Two, please add sector time data to help you breakdown when you had your fastest sectors to see what your ideal lap time would be after every race, no matter the race type. I also hope they add a few more modern day GT2 cars and change the GT2 division to GTE and put the Porsche 935 GT2 and KTM GT2 in the new GT2 division. Lastly, I think the GT2 restructured to GTE should have most cars sitting around 840PI since those cars are faster than the GT3 class. Forza could compare the lap times of the GTE and GT3 cars around many tracks such as SpA or Road America.

Hello,

We have a good number of Porsches and that’s great, because there’s something for everyone, but it’s true that there are so many mythical cars, that some are missing…

I’m still surprised not to see the Porsche 911 GT1 #26 from 1998 that we had in FM 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6 and which is one of the most mythical Porsche in the forza franchise.

I was also expecting to see the 2008 Porsche RS Spyder Evo #7 that we had in FM 3, 4, 6, 7 because FM lacks open prototypes I think.

Why have two 935/78s ? I think we can all agree that instead of one of the two, we’d all have preferred to have a 935K, as it’s a car we’ve seen run in so many more races than the 935/78.

The return of the 917/20 is cool, but I’d also have liked to see a 917K arrive, which like the 935K is a Porsche we’ve seen a lot more of.

The 924 and 961 are a nice surprise that we weren’t necessarily expecting, so that’s cool.

To liven up the GT4 category with the KTM and the Ginetta, we’d have liked to see the little 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport again.

I hope that the future will see the arrival of other jewels of the Porsche brand, because like it or not, it’s a mythical brand, whether for road cars or especially for racing cars!

As for the content, I think it’s a good thing to separate the Lambo super trofeo and 488 challenge from the GT3.

The new permanent spec division rivals is a nice addition too !

I’m curious to see what the 20th anniversary update has in store for us !

Have a nice day ! :slightly_smiling_face:

This is a great update to the game. There were already more Porsches than any other car. Now there are more. It should be no problem deciding on a a 911 for the game now! I’m so excited I could just…:rofl::speak_no_evil_monkey::see_no_evil_monkey::hear_no_evil_monkey:. @FreshBarley4670 I tired for that Lambo too. Couldn’t do the MP option because matchmaking is such a mess. It doesn’t “match” players it just packs lobbies and I never could finish enough races without DNF’ing and I didn’t do the career route because of the Sebring race being limited to one option of a car I didn’t own and didn’t want to own. And I suspect that in the race there were many different cars. For a game with so many possibilities it is so limited

Except for 911’s. There’s a plethora of 911’s. Take as many as you want.

Does this game have stats yet or nah? Asking for everyone.

Stats where, stats how?

One word can mean many things, but I’m going to throw out a guess at what you mean and tell you that no, “stats” haven’t changed.

Whose idea was it for nascar to race in the rain on Daytona, or any oval track in the featured multiplayer. :expressionless_face: everywhere else is fine.. just ruined that experience for me. Hope it’s not raining every time the track cycles around. I mean cmon the cars don’t even have wipers..

If they wanted to kinda simulate a real life experience where the rain came and left, and washed away the track rubber, and then race on the dried track. I could understand that. Please fix asap..

Stats(excuse the iphone quality pics)

I’d prefer a dry line being implemented before they looked at rain washing away track-rubber

What I want is stats for the multiplayer I think gt7 has that also.

Sure does. I still can’t believe it’s not in the game.

With the 924 GTP not being available until the end of this month, does that leave this class with only one car?
Is the 1974 Porsche #1 911 RSR (previous reward car) not available in this class?

That’s what I thought, but it looks like some players might have that car already.
Maybe a perk for those in the insiders program who tested this update?
Or maybe a glitch?
I’ve seen it as the selected car for some players in the lobby’s Driver List, but they either switched cars or left those lobbies before race start because I don’t think I’ve seen anyone actually race it yet.

Usually, the locked exclusives become available around the last week of each series, so it will hopefully be an option for everyone then for a short time before the series ends.

I have that car & I don’t see it as a selectable option when I’m in these lobbies.
*Edit - oops… Yes, this car is an eligible option for Group #2 in this series.
I’ll update the list above.
Thanks :+1:

Keep in mind that eligible cars rotate daily and no, Insiders don’t get any cars.
