Unable to Install Supercharger

As I was upgrading my '69 Charger, I tried to put in the supercharger. When I pressed “A” to install it, it went through the usual loading thing that it does but never actually installed the part; I know this because the PI didn’t change and it said “Owned” underneath it instead of “Installed”. I kept pressing “A” on it, but it would not install. I was able to install twin turbos without a problem. I also did an engine swap and was able to put a supercharger on the other engine, but not the stock one. I backed out of the garage, re-entered, and tried it again, but still the same issue. I went to the home screen, quit the game, and restarted it, thinking maybe that would fix it, but it didn’t. I tried replicating this on another car; the Dodge Dart. The same issue happened to me there; I was unable to install the supercharger on the stock engine, but I was able to install it on the swapped engine. I don’t know what the issue might be, so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sounds like the aspiration glitch. Have you installed any tunes from the storefront? If you did, you can only use that tune on the vehicle to change the aspiration.

To fix, you need to buy a new car. In the future, when looking to download tunes you do not know the build of, it is best to buy all engine swaps and all aspiration conversions for each engine swap to make sure this glitch does not happen. This glitch sometimes happens when you install a build that has an engine or aspiration swap and you do not own those parts before installation.

Same thing happened to my ultima gtr

Ok. The solution is exactly the same as I described to OP.

I know. I was just stating that it happened to me to.

Oh, ok. Happens to many people. I must say, it has happened to me only once, and in FH2 so I guess I’m lucky, but even still. Since it happened, I always buy all the options before using tunes made by others.
