The final TVR developed under the Wheeler regime, the Typhon was supposed to be the fastest road-going TVR ever. Sadly, just like the Cerbera Speed 12, which we already have in Horizon, only 3 were ever made. There is a lot of confusion around this project, and the T400R/T440R which were also made at the time. These numbers stood for the cars’ power outputs, with around 6 built. One customer T440R was built, after which the Typhon or T550R was announced, adding a supercharger to achieve the higher output. The orange one pictured above is actually fitted with the supercharged and reportedly develops over 600 hp. Two more Typhon bodies were fitted with the T400R engine and were registered in 2006, 2 years later than the orange one. Despite the confusing story, the final Wheeler TVR would be a great addition to Forza, especially since the excessive heat from the supercharger won’t be a problem in the virtual world.
