If you want this model in FH5 you must also vote separately on the same model topic in the Car Voting - FH category.
The M series was a new generation (at its time) of TVR’s little coupé sports car. For this generation Vixen and widebody Tuscan to a new chassis.
They had 3 different engines available for at least part of their production life.
The slowest and least powerful 1600M came with Ford’s Kent engine (1.6 Inline 4).
More powerful 2500M that was primarily targeted at North American market brought the 2.5 Inline 6 from Triumph TR6. But borrowing parts from TR6 did not stop there as TVR took TR6’s gearbox, differential and front suspension as well. The main reason for using this engine was the fact that it already had its North American #homologation.
And then, there was the last version. 3000M and its related version. This model utilised another of Ford’s engine. It was Essex V6 in 3 litre configuration.
3000 was the most interesting version as it gave birth to hatchback version called Taimar and 3000S (Convertible version).
And in case that stock power of Essex wasn’t simply enough for you, TVR had answer for that request too.
It was called Turbo. Yes, they, in cooperation with Broadspeed, created a Turbocharged version of 3000M, Taimar, and 3000S.
It was a low production project (see exact production numbers linked below).
My request is 3000M Turbo
