Turn 10 Studios, the developer and cultivators of the Forza video game franchise, including the award-winning Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon game series, is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to lead our business management team & function. The team’s role is to manage the financial & business affairs of the studio, including budgeting & spend management, forecasting and reporting, business modeling and opportunity analysis, and vendor contract management. The team is responsible for modeling opportunities in collaboration with line of business leaders, driving business processes, supporting negotiations of supplier & partner contracts, managing publishing relationships, setting budgets, and providing financial planning & analysis.

The ideal candidate will bring experience across a similar range of financial and business management functions. You’ll foster an environment of collaboration between business management and business partners to develop, optimize, and implement innovative business models that reflect studio strategy.

Responsibilities
Manage business management function & team associates.
Partner with Producers and business partners to provide first-line business management and guidance.
Drive monthly business rhythms including results discussions, reviews, and reporting with studio leadership.
Collaborate with product teams to drive implementation of product strategies, manage operating expenses, and make investment and product development decisions, delivering quality products on-time and on-budget.
Provide subject-matter expertise for KPIs used to measure & manage Forza products.
Lead work on viability for new products and initiatives and P&L forecasting for new ventures
Drive BI Strategy. Research, analyze and make recommendations regarding current market trends and competitive activity to identify new product/program opportunities. Work in business intelligence to help form comprehensive, actionable BI queries and plans. Collaborate with distributed resources on tactical BI implementations, including Live Operations for games.
Manage business processes including team collaboration with central Finance team on monthly financial close, revenue & expense reporting, and headcount management.
Lead team Partnerships with multi-functional support groups including A/P, royalty accounting, marketing, and finance.
Drive improvement in the financial systems and processes that support our business.

Qualifications
5-10 years of progressive financial experience directly supporting business partners in a business management, finance or similar role.
5-10 years’ experience coaching, developing and managing people, including managing and recruiting a team with diverse backgrounds & perspectives.
Experience managing P&Ls and costs within a world-class organization.
Superior communication skills, including an ability to collaboratively empathize & partner with stakeholders directly and within a functional matrix.
Experience with financial modeling in a game development, technology, entertainment, and / or publishing business.
Ability to lead & drive change and improve key business processes and financial models.
BA/BS in fields such as finance, business, or marketing. MBA preferred, but not required. Commensurate experience would be considered in lieu of an MBA.
Gaming and / or entertainment experience strongly preferred, but not required.

Leading a team of high-performing Global Marketing Managers, this candidate should be an enthusiastic people manager with experience managing senior level relationships. As a key member of the Xbox Marketing and Studio leadership teams, you will set strategy, guide investments, and manage all consumer facing executions. You will also be responsible for fostering collaboration across the Xbox game, platform, and services teams.

Ideal candidates have experience launching AAA games on console and PC, running global-scale digital and retail marketing campaigns, developing strategic partnerships, familiarity with performance marketing including acquisition & retention using data-driven models, and utilizing consumer insights and analytics to influence product development and messaging. Responsibilities
You will lead a team building the processing systems and workflows that transform code and art assets into optimized game-consumable bits. These systems form the living breathing heart of Turn 10 Studios. We work closely with all teams in the studio on the design and implementation of these systems. In addition to onsite work, our systems support remote workflows for over 300 artists and developers who are geographically distributed across the globe.
As a First-Party studio, this team works hand-in-hand with the Xbox One platform teams and Microsoft Studios to define gaming experiences across the Microsoft gaming ecosystem on Xbox One, Xbox Scorpio and Windows Store. You will help deliver the next AAA title from Turn 10 Studios on next generation platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Math/Computer Science or Equivalent experience
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience
