Senior Product Marketing Manager - Turn 10 Studios

In this role as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, we are seeking a creative, and collaborative with with the ability to define clear goals, develop thoughtful, creative marketing strategies that are grounded in a deep understanding of our community of players. This is a cross-functional role. You will partner closely with Studio teams at Turn 10 and Playground Games, as well as the broader Xbox marketing team, to build and manage integrated co-marketing campaigns for gaming communities across console, and Personal Computer (PC). You do not need to be a racing expert to succeed in this unique and fun role – though you may become one!
Responsibilities
- Establish a vision for developing, launching, and managing strategic third-party co-marketing integrations with Forza titles on console and PC
- Serve as the primary liaison representing product marketing managing the day-to-day relationships between Forza licensing and partnership teams, as well as Xbox Pop Culture & Lifestyle, and creative marketing teams
- Drive growth and depth with relevant licensees and partners through clear communication, internal collaborations, and strategic development
- Develop and execute a short- and long-term growth strategy informed by consumer insights, industry trends, retail intel, and competitive insights
- Actively explore and execute on new opportunities across categories
- Support Partnership and Licensing teams in their pitching, negotiation, and process with partners as needed while understanding their motivations and objectives to recommend the most effective integrations
- Establish a position on the value of proposed integrations and provide ongoing metrics through execution and delivery
- Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to build world-class creative and messaging to maximize the potential reach and impact of each partnership. Ensure all Studio marcom stakeholders are aligned to partner expectations and mandates.
- Provide thought leadership to larger team on industry and best practices
- Negotiate and review business terms of marketing related contracts when needed
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
- OR Master’s Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with partnerships, and licensing, in a marketing capacity across global markets
- 2+ years of experience directly closing negotiations across multiple deal structures and comfort with contractual language
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
- OR Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with various internal organizations (product and creative development, marketing, legal, business development, retail sales)
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously to deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills and high degree of entrepreneurial spirit
- Embodies a “consumer first” mindset, while also designing strategies and tactics that meet business goals
