Tracks from Forza 6 you'd trade for older Forza tracks NOT in the game?

What are some awesome tracks you want from older Forza’s that weren’t in this game that you would rather replace some of your not so favorite tracks? Here’s my list:

  • Suzuka Circuit for Bernese Alps
-Maple Valley for Rio de Janeiro
-Blue Mountains raceway for Yas Marina
    -Tsukuba circuit for Prague
    -Mugello for Hockenheimring
    -Sunset Peninsula for Long Beach
    -Fujimi for Brands Hatch

All of these tracks I listed that are currently in F6 are hurting multiplayer gameplay. They’re just not fun tracks to race in my opinion. There’s a few other ones like Monza and Lime Rock that I’d gladly replace too.

So is this a wishlist?

I knew someone had to ask, & it’s the first post. No this is NOT a wishlist, and I don’t think anybody here is expecting or hoping for the old tracks to come back.

I’ll give you the Yas swap, but I love the rest of them. In fact, Hatch in the rain is one of my most favorites.

I do miss Mugello and Maple Valley, though.

So I would propose swapping Mugello for Bath (probably my 2nd least favorite of all the tracks)

Yas Marina for…nothing. Just get rid of it.

THIS!

I find this unfortunate because Yas is a great track, it’s just the poor racing etiquette of the majority that ruins it.

No. It isn’t. Yas Marina is absolutely dreadful. Even if they fixed the corner cutting I would hate it. It is a great example of why modern track design is absolutely terrible, focusing entirely on slow, technical turns and completely forgoing things like flow and speed. COTA has the same problem in the second half of the track after the long straight, as does basically every track F1 races on today other than the classics. People ultimately hate Yas for the same reasons they hate Bugatti Circuit and, back in older Forza games, Motegi - it just flat-out is awful to drive, as in not fun, as in it feels like a punishment for playing the game. The corner cutting just adds salt to the wound.

For me, I’d trade Yas and COTA for Maple and the entirety of the Camino Viejo complex. I could also drop Rio for Suzuka.

Glad to see I’m not the only one who feels this way. I was excited for COTA to open, and indeed have enjoyed watching many of the races there. In the game though I dislike racing there, with the exception of a couple of the short circuits, for the exact reason you stated. There is no FLOW to the race. For much of the track you are on the brakes more than the gas. It’s just not fun to race.

I have to disagree with Bugatti and Motegi though. I’ve always liked both those tracks. Motegi especially was actually a pretty fast track once you got a feel for it.

Come on guys, you have to have a this for a that. Lets just get rid of VIR too. “NOT”. You have to have technical aspects of racing, Where would the challenge come from? Race NASCAR if you want four turns and wide open all the time. I agree with DMR, this is what ruins most, if not all technical tracks.

Sorry but this defense you’ve laid out is bunk. Holding speed through a fast sweeper is every bit as difficult, perhaps more so on some tracks, than hitting an apex on a 40MPH right-angle turn like what Yas Marina seemingly consists entirely of. Turns absolutely do not need to be slow, technical slogs to be hard. And then you’ve got stuff like Eau Rouge-Raidillon at Spa, the Esses at both Watkins Glen and Sonoma, Silverstone’s Maggots-Becketts-Chapel, the Porsche Curves of Le Mans, Paddock Hill Bend at Brands Hatch, the entirety of the Nordschleife, I could go on and on with examples just from this game of extremely tough corners that are at the very least relatively fast. Personally I find all of these more difficult than the patented Herman Tilke crawling, constant-radius crapfest that makes up basically every race track built in the past 15 years, and more importantly I find them far more fun to drive as well.

To each his/her own . I find getting around that tight slow turn better than anyone else challenging. There are many tracks professional racers do not like, But they race the tracks they are put on. I myself find it very easy to hold speed through a sweeper, easily keep up with the top racers. Get in the tight turns it’s a different story.

Yeh, as Skreamies said, this is technically a wishlist.

I also like the track list for what is is, and yes, there are some I do like more than others.

Also, the Blue Mountains track is basically a Bathurst knockoff.

I love Suzuka and Mugello, but idk if I’d get rid of anything. The more the merrier, right? One swap I’d do for sure is Sunset Penninsula instead of Top Gear.

I would trade Alps and Prague for Sunset Infield and Maple Valley. I would trade Bathurst for Motegi, and Watkins for Suzuka.

Get rid of Bathurst and the Glen? Those are two of my favorite tracks :frowning:

One track I do miss a lot though is Sedona. I feel like it was hated by most in Forza 4 and I never understood why.

I know right. Bathurst, Watkins and Brands Hatch are all awesome tracks.

Saying a track isn’t fun to race in multiplayer is funny though. I mean no track is fun to race in multiplayer because the Forza community are race-retarded(hopefully you get what I mean by that)

People hated Sedona because they couldn’t cut the track due to “sticky” grass. That is the most negative complaint I remember about FM4. I don’t like “sticky” grass, but I hate track cutters worse…lol

Back on topic I would trade Yas for any of the older tracks like Sunset or New York from FM1.
Also, would trade Top Gear for any of the older tracks that have been mentioned. It’s my least favorite track in the game.

I would trade Suzuka for just about any track other than Spa or Silverstone.

For me bye bye Top Gear. Worst track ever.
And in return Mugello.
