Starting in July of 2008, TRD decided to go fully balls to the walls with top of the range 5.7 V8 and begun selling a supercharger kit for this engine.
With it, the power output jumped from 381 hp to absolutely insane 504 hp.
This was good enough for 4.4 second 0-60 mph time.
Why did TRD did it? They wanted to compete with the Ford’s rivalin form of F-150 SVT Raptor.
But they discontinued these kits in mid 2015.
