Specs:
- Engine: 1.8L I4 (naturally aspirated) w/two e-motors and nickel-metal hydride battery pack
- Horsepower: 96 @ 5200 rpm (the combined system net horsepower is 121)
- Torque: 105 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm
- Transmission: eCVT
- Drivetrain: AWD (FWD is standard)
- 0-60: Roughly in the high-9 to high-10-second range
- Top speed: 104 mph (electronically limited)
2021 Toyota Prius 20th Anniversary Edition
Specs:
- Engine: 1.8L I4 (naturally aspirated) w/e-motor and nickel-metal hydride battery pack
- Horsepower: 96 @ 5200 rpm (combined system output is 121 horsepower)
- Torque: 105 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm
- Transmission: eCVT
- Drivetrain: FWD (an AWD option was not offered)
- 0-60: Roughly between the high-9 and low-10-second range, despite there being reports of even slower times such as in the low-12’s
- Top speed: 104 mph (electronically limited)
- Note: The 20th Anniversary Prius, or the “2020 Edition” as Toyota calls it and based on the XLE trim level, was built to celebrate the car’s 20th year of production in North America, and only 2020 examples were sold in 2021
