TRD and TTC are aftermarket, these weren’t production models you could order from a dealership.

Tom’s is listed in the same section as those two and they’re definitely an Aftermarket Tuner.

The TRD especially lists that it was built to custom order of the customer so it wouldn’t fit properly in the normal topic.

Yes

Ownership is of no concern to me if it’s not something included as an option for a standard production model straight from the dealer.

They are nowadays.

It used to be a separate company that ran Toyota’s Motorsport division but they were integrated more into the main company to function as performance models around 2014 I believe.

Same as what Mercedes has done with AMG and Maybach and BMW with Alpina.

No, they’re not going anywhere.

They’re weren’t completely separate but they weren’t integrated either.

If you wanted TRD parts on your car you had to order them seperately from a TRD dealer and either pay someone to install them or do it yourself.

Nowadays you can buy a TRD model with them installed directly from a Toyota Dealership, or you can still do it seperately if you want but it’s not necessary.

Then I have two topics to keep track of for modified versions of the MR2 (SW20).

Therefore I don’t see the point and that’s the end of it.

I’m not moving them.

The TRD2000GT would be epic to see. The problem is, would you integrate that as a separate model? Just the bodykit would be weird, but as all 35 (or 37) TRD2000GTs were different, we need to decide on one variant or just the bodykit.
