How does this work? Everytime I go in the lobby I am in the C class. There is one other person in B or A class. Everybody who joins also is put in the C class. So there are 3-5 people in C and one in B and one in A…no S class. I don’t get it. Do you have to race it so many times to move up to the next class? Or is it just messed up? Thanks in advance for input
If I remember correctly, it’s a multi-class lobby where you pick a car respective to whichever class you’d like to race in.
It chooses your initial class and it bumps you around between the 4 classes after a couple races in one class. I’ve gone up and down in it. I’m not sure if there’s a science behind the class movement for an individual or if it’s just random. To me it feels random and I’m leaning towards pretty sure of that.
When I pick a class other than C it tells me that due to the upgrades…it is not eligible. The forza 4 version, you were switched up from class to class every race…
I have played it at least 5 rounds and never switched out of the C class
It is a totally random draw for classes and sometimes the game gets hung up and if nobody joins you can be in the same class for hours.

This is my experience too. I’ve been in ABCS that worked properly but after awhile the room fails to continue switching people between classes. If you get into a room and it isn’t switching anyone’s class, just leave, it’s broke. Go back in and hope you get into a lobby that isn’t broke yet. But if you race in it long enough it will break too.
FYI some of the lobbies have a bug and wont change classes. You will just have to keep going back into the lobby and hope you get in one that is working correctly and changing classes after every race.
If it’s working right I think it’s one of the more fun lobbys. It’s remarkably troll free despite it seeming like the concept would attract them and you’re pitted against different players from race to race so if there’s a big gap in skill level between participants you’re not pitted against alien savants with controllers or people easily crushed all the time.
I haven’t been in any ABC’S lobby that would switch classes after every round on FM5. In FM4 yes the classes would change after every single round but haven’t seen that in the new game and that’s the only lobby I run. I will just keep looking I guess.
I race ABCs almost everynight. It is designed so that when you join the lobby you are to select a C-class car. If at the end of the race there are 5 or more C-class cars there will be a class change. There are exceptions. If the lobby is full it will change every race. If you join and the timer till the next race is running it may place you in a random class. You will know the class by the 1st car it gives you as an option to choose. Ignore the colors next to your name as they do not match the class colors.
Thats my favorite lobby to race in. I think it’s all based on population of the room which sucks if there are only 4-5 people, thats when it seems to stop rotation. In a full room I usually race the same class 2 races then it switches. I wish Forza Le Mans Lobby would be put in also, but a lack of P2 and proper GT1 cars makes that a FM6 wish i fear.
