Yeah this bullcrap is what made me stop tuning all together for this game. its too difficult to add parts for a division, then see how well that combo performs, then change parts out. also why remove the open test track? that’s where i did all my drag tunes! it was perfect for getting the perfect launch then setting the final gear to the finish line. Why would they destroy a perfectly working aspect of the games?
Not a tuners game this, way too many unrealistic limitations. Like with tires, you can upgrade to 235s (=owerstear) in the rear OR the next step is 295s (=understear). Atotuning is just tuning for dummies, FM7 has became too much of a dummies game. Good to look at but not so good to play.
Making best use of telemetry requires use of a replay. However, you can only view or save a replay if you complete a full race. Has anyone found a way to review a replay or similar of a test drive?
Have to agree here.
I am totally befuddled by the entire experience, since purchasing a couple of days ago.
What the hell have they done to this game ?
Forza 3 and 4 were so simple: buy a car, tune and build to a Class limit… hot lap, and then use it in Career or online.
Now, it is all Divisions, Classes, PI, Leagues, Multiplayer, Free Play, Forza Cup, Tiers, Rankings etc etc … jee oh jee.
I am getting on a bit, but P3D flightsim is more intuitive than this nonsense.
I just wanna find a certain car, buy it and drive. No chance.
Try even finding a certain car. There is no order or sorting, just Tiers where some cars are locked, some are DLC, some are VIP… and when you do tune a car, as soon as you choose an event, 9 times out of 10, its homogulatated-ised…
Come on. This is utterly ridiculous !
It actually makes me think of the old cliche: this game has been designed, by a committee…
Anyway, Kudos to this guy:
At least this great database makes some sense of it all. Thanks mate.
glad for the test drive …just a 1/4 mile and open driving on airfield test track??? there should be a 2 or 3 mile straight stretch at the airfield test track…not fun ramming into a barrier once you get up to speed. then the car is damaged and won 't run or you have to do a rewind.
