Hey guys, Team Shinnen Racing is looking for new drivers. We are a Forza Horizon 3 ‘touge’ based club. What this means is that we reside in the game’s touge community, and focus primarily on that. Most people will be familiar with touge from the famous anime ‘Initial D’.
Quick history lesson for those unaware (lengthy read so skip this part if you already know), touge is a form of racing that originated on Japan’s mountain’s roads, which were windy and steep. Touge races usually take the form of 1v1s, where there is a leader and a chaser, and both have to sprint from point A to B to win. The idea is that in order to win, the chaser must decrease the gap between him/her and the leader (which usually starts off at a 2 car width), or overtake/pass the leader. In order for the leader to win, he must increase the gap between him/her and the chaser. If the gap stays roughly the same size, a second round will occur, of which the leader and chaser change positions (note that these are the generic rules and other variants exist).
Here are some examples of our touge battles already:
Shinnen is looking for drivers, builders, tuners etc to grow as a team. We want the best drivers, the best touge car builds and the best publicity as a team and we’re determined to reach our goals. We are fairly laid back when it doesn’t come to touge, and so we’re also out for the best friendships too, meeting some of the most awesome people in the community.
We have rival teams, too, which is all friendly competition. To keep that good content alive, we need more people under our name, experienced or nee. It doesn’t matter if you are a spring chicken or a seasoned veteran, you can really make a big difference in our team!
