Near the Blizzard Mountain Festival site, there’s a large icon just off the road (on a helipad) - drive up and press the button to be transported back to the main map [edit, see below]

Actually it takes you back to the Byron Bay festival for some reason.

Yep, I have never really understood the hinting behind that decision.

Easy, that is the one festival that is 100% sure to be unlocked before a new player can go to BM.

it cold just put you on the airport, on the exact same point you have to go in order to go to blizzard mountain.
