Hey Forza Community, I’m SubieSTIg and this is my first attempt at seriously taking photos in Forza. I threw a set together today of my Liberty Walk GTR around Surfer’s Paradise and included a shot from Blizzard Mountain. Let me know if you like them and constructive criticism is encouraged. Enjoy!
Bonus Shot
Numbers 2,3,&5 are my favorites.
Number 2 has great contrast and depth of field. I think just a tiny tilt to the left or right would’ve added just a bit more punch though. Also be careful about where lines meet the car and the edge of the picture. If a harsh line like a sign or building is sticking out of the car then it can really distract from the focus of the picture.
I love the colorful reflection on the side of the GT-R in number 3. It really makes the picture. the buildings on the right are blurred perfectly so the it helps us focus on the car and it really adds emotion. It’s probably the best of the bunch.
Number 5 had great motion and lighting but the car is too close to the center. I would recommend putting the car closer to the left or right and then moving the camera lower or higher.

One way you can improve the thread itself, compile all of your shots from a single day into one post so you can organize the thread a bit. It could get a bit messy otherwise. Just my 2 cents though.
Thanks Atlas. I was actually up in the air about posting this one, I felt it was too dark, but it is definitely growing on me.
I am going to start compiling them, but the boredom from being home from college is killing me and making me impatient, but as soon as school starts back up I’m for sure going to slow down.
I have realized that I need to be a little more organized with my thread, so sets are now going to be dated, and maybe eventually themed. Enjoy!

Thanks Chapman! I was waiting for someone to mention the shot of the GTR on the beach as it was one of my favorites. As for the camber, -4.5 degrees, I don’t have cambergang in my sig for nothing! Glad you like the shots.
I used to live near the beach, reminds me of my old morning swim… Don’t live near the beach anymore though.
I’m no expert photographer, but the stance of the car contributes a lot in my opinion. Some cars just sit better than others.
I live on the beach as well, so I think that is why I am drawn to that shot.
The way the car sits is super important for a quality shot in my opinion and contributes heavily to what kind of scene the car should be showcased in. The Surfer’s shoot with the Liberty Walk GTR, industrial NSX shots, and the moody Nissan truck shots come to mind. Thanks again!
