2022 Subaru Levorg STi Sport R

Launched in late 2020, the second-generation Levorg is offered only with a brand new CB18 1.8L DOHC DIT engine that produces 177PS of power and 300Nm of torque. Mated with the only gearbox offered on the new Levorg, a Lineartronic CVT, it promises a combined 13.7kmpl based on WLTP standards. A year later, the STi Sport R is added, using the same 2.4L turbo engine as the WRX S4 mated to a Subaru Performance Transmission.

This is the version we need as cvts are terrible

I don’t get why we’ve never had a Subie Estate in the FH series at all

I want the mexican version and you

I’m not sure and to be honest, it’ll be an effort to find one since they’re quite new in Mexico, that’s if it’s T10 looking over it

The Mexican version can be had with a manual I really dont want a disgusting cvt

Cars with CVTs in the game can be converted to have regular gearboxes e.g. Polaris Razors, Can Am etc

If you don’t like having the CVT, you can just swap it out for a regular gearbox

Who’s “many of us?”

Not many people hate CVTs actually. And if you say “many of us” or “we”, it’s only YOU who hates CVT. I’ve driven two CVT hatchbacks before. Honda Fit and Mitsubishi Mirage.

CVT feels efficient, especially its gear ratios are infinite for a smoother drive.

If the International/Japanese version was to be added and not the Mexican version, would you swap out the CVT for a regular gearbox?

Most probably… or not, I heard that Subaru’s CVTs have an 8-speed gear simulation. Even if the gears are infinite, they have paddle shifters, so there’s a Manual shift mode on a CVT, which is crazy.

I would rather have a Golf with a dual clutch than a car with a cvt I hope they add the Mexican model CVTs are hated by many people which does not surprise me they have so many problems the performance is definitely worse too

The chances of us getting of the Mexican spec version is second to none, you can swap out the CVT for a regular gearbox if we do get it
And clearly you didn’t read Rustic’s response to my question

I did but CVTs are extremely controversial and it would be better if they go for the Mexican version the devs love adding North American spec cars and it would not surprise me if they do that with the Levorg (WRX Wagon in Mexico)
