Engine: 289 cubic inch V8 w/a Jet-Stream supercharger
Horsepower: 275 @ 4800 rpm
Torque: 333 lb-ft @ 3200 rpm
Transmission: 3-speed BorgWarner “Flight-O-Matic” automatic (standard), 3-speed manual w/overdrive (optional)
Drivetrain: RWD
0-60: Roughly about 9.2 seconds
Top speed: 118-120 mph
Note: Most Golden Hawks for 1957 came with the Flight-O-Matic, while the overdrive manual option was less common
