Are you over 25?
Do you race clean?
Do you know how to use your break pedal/trigger?
Do you have a sense of humour?
If the answer to those is yes (especially to the sense of humour one) then I would like to invite you to join this series.
Races will be held, weekly, on Thursdays at 1am BST starting 21st July 2016.
(please work out the time for your own time zone but basically its early hours of Thursday morn for Europe its Wednesday evening, 20th July for the 1st race, in the US and its Thursday lunch time in Oz and NZ)
The series will consist of 10 race meets which should last no longer than 1h 45m including qualifying.
Please allow longer for the first race as start times will no doubt be put back as we will all be “meeting” each other for the first time.
The organiser and guys who have initially signed up are from Europe the US n NZ and are all mid/low level elite and high level pro as far as online league divisions are concerned. Bottom line… we are not rubbish but we certainly aren’t the best. We are a very friendly humorous bunch who drive clean and we welcome the same.
THE CAR:
2014 VW Golf R
All racers will use the same designated tune making racing all about the driver and not how good they are at tuning.
Please note that Break Pressure is set at 155%
This car set up is designed to not be easy…it’s certainly not a hard car to drive but it does demand care under breaking.
THE RACE SET UP
All races are run during the day on dry circuits
We will run a 2 lap ghost qualifying race which will give us one flying lap.
Clean laps take precedence over dirty ones.
I will send invites out at 1255 am BST and ask drivers join no later than 1.05 am BST for qually.
Qualifying will start at 1.10am BST. If you miss qualifying you will start from the back of the grid.
The race will start at 1.30am BST and will run for no longer than 1h 15m.
Collisions are on and damage is simulation. Start is a standing start.

THE ALL IMPORTANT RULES
Track limits are defined by the white lines which run either side of the track. A breach of the track limits is defined as a driver who gains time and/or places by taking all four wheels off the track
Any driver who is found to have breached track limits will have a retrospective 5 sec time penalty for minor breaches and a 30 sec penalty for major ones (blatant corner cutting)
these penalties are applied per breach.
I must point out that if following a breach the driver lets off the gas and gives back the time/places gained they will not be subject to a time penalty.
As the cars are the same i expect close racing and as such there will be collisions. Hopefully they will all be just racing incidents. However if any driver feels that an incident was not a racing one then I ask that they send me a msg after the race with the lap number for review.
penalties for causing a collision are the same as track limit penalties. 5 sec for minor incidents and 30 sec for major/malicious incidents.
(please note that if you cause an incident by re-entering the track in an unsporting/unsafe manner you will be subject to a 30sec time penalty)
If a driver causes a MINOR collision causing NO DAMAGE to another car and gives the place(s) they gained back then they will not be subject to a time penalty.
Unfortunately if you cause damage and truly impede another cars progress then u will be penalised.
YELLOW FLAG SYSTEM
Cautions will be area only cautions. Drivers must slow down and take extra care when in a cautioned zone. No overtaking is allowed under caution.
Drivers will be expected to call their own caution letting everyone know exactly where they are and keep everyone updated on their track position if limping back to the pits. As such you must have a mic and speak good enough English to be able to communicate this.
Finer details n questions will be sorted when we meet up for the first race.
MIN ASSISTS
Line=full
Steering=normal
Breaks=ABS
Sability=YES
Traction=YES
NUMBERS
All racers will run a number. the numbers already reserved by drivers are:
11, 18, 23, 24, 199, 622.
Due to lobby chat being so unreliable we will be using private party chat. Because of this we are only able to have 16 drivers.
There are currently 9 places available.
LIVERIES
Liveries are to be race based with your chosen number displayed on the doors. Not bothered if you design your own or dload one just so long as it meets that requirement.
CAR TUNE
The car tune is avail for dload now.
class is A699
name is vw
description is golf lge
As this is a fixed tune I suggest you dload it and try it out before you decide to join us.
Finally I must point out that this series is open to over 25s only and that there is a high probability, well, infact its a certainty that adult language will be used by all, throughout the entire period of the race.
Therefore please do not sign up if this would offend you,
If, after you have tried the car, you want in please xbox message me BlemishedSpy10 with your chosen number.
See you on the track.
