I’m hoping they change out the CC8S for something else. I have the expansion and the car so it’s not a big deal to me, but that’s not fair to everyone who doesn’t own it to throw it out in the shop for them to buy, but not be able to drive it.
They have changed it to One:1 now
So basically you can buy the car which you’ll also earn for 50% completion
EDIT: Changed once again, now you can get a CCGT, which finally seems like a good deal.
I confirm, it is now the Koegnigsegg CCGT, the car offered in the Forzathon shop.
Trial was fun. Probably should have checked what type of event it was before starting - happened to enter just as the timer hit zero. I guessed it might be Dirt but fortunately the FWD Clio I chose was still decent on tarmac. Did miss a checkpoint at the start of race 2 but that did provide me with the amusement of overtaking 6 cars on one corner - think that might be a personal record - as 4 of my teammates all hit the brakes too late for a tight corner, taking two of the drivatars with them.
I used the 1987 Pontiac Firebird in the Trial and killed the AI on the straights. It turned like a boat though so I’d say there are better choices out there. I used the 2010 Renault Clip RS for the Playground Games but if I had to do it again, I’d pick the 2009 Vauxhall Corsa instead. Everyone who used one seemed to catch me easily. The showcase remix was pretty fun. That Superfast just loved being thrown around corners.
Saw one very fast '87 Firebird on this, good player too.
Liked Superfast Showcase Remix, one of my favourites.
Have done this weeks Trial quite a few times with various cars. I have some tunes shared for Mazda Miata, Mitsubishi Eclipse and Subaru and have Ford Transit Mk 1 as VIP, still won every race with it when I took it to test.
Stock Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV is good for “Just in Time” Hypercars (tested on Unbeatable).
Had a mishap with “New Arrivals” Modern Supercars champ and accidentally raced it with tuned Spania GTA that I have built for something stupid and forgot to reset. Think it may make a good base though, didn’t re-race with as stock. Why it’s so difficult to have some sort small icon made to garage menu to indicate tuned cars from stock.
Showcase Remix and Trial were only events I really liked on this playlist.
I doubt people will be struggling with the Trial this week, but I shared a tune of the 2009 S2000 for it, called DiscountDelivery. I only tried one other car before the S2000, the Mini JCW, and found the Mini a bit lacking in top end speed for those 3 tracks, I’d rate the S2000 as better for this particular event.
I’m not sure. The first one I messed up on, I usually choose my highest PI car and go, unfortunately it was the Can-Am. Not good for roads. Lol. My second time everyone quit after we lost the 1st race, only 3 left in the next 2 which we won. 3rd guy was sand bagging or something. His Focus was in the x90s and he was way far behind the last drivatar the entire time.
I used a Golf VR6, IIRC a breeminator tune? Agree JCW not great choice. Golf ran and hid. Fun. Round 2 Drivatars had zero points. LOL.
Wish they’d stick an R34, Trueno, or some other popular stuff in as FT shop or weeklies again. I’ve got them, but still really popular, certainly more than a Gurkha.
Spring season is quite annoying…nearly no grip in the rain
Used the '03 R32 (a personal favorite, used to drive an '02 GTI) in the trial and had a blast. Went back and forth with someone driving the 914/6 but he was the better driver and an honorable teammate. We had two players drop out before the end of the first race (neither had a tune) and that worked well for the rest of the team.
Hello all,
Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks online seasonal events, plus PR sunts, for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code.
Online:
**Trial: “Discount Delivery” | Street Scene | (B700) Reasonably Priced Cars
**Car used: 1983 VW Golf GTi (Autoshow 20,000 Cr)
**Tune: B700 Street / 129 213 883
This old school boy-racer, Golf GTi is an easy driver with good speed and handling. Testing offline confirms this can and will beat unbeatable A.I., as it is street scene there is no way to have the opponents matched to a car type (or set weather), although they will match to P.I. - as such testing is basically B700 anything goes and I am not sure if this makes it an easier or harder race than the trial. Online performance may vary, mine certainly did, had some quality teammates who deliberately ran teammates off the road, make no mistake it wasn’t accidental, straight road, nothing making it a difficult pass, deliberate turn into me into the wall. Attempt to run me in to oncoming traffic, same situation they could have passed without issue, pushed me towards oncoming traffic, however this went badly for them, tap the brakes, go around the oncoming, which they hit as I wasn’t there to stop them! these teammates were prestige 2 and 5, not low level players at all. In spite of this, was always able to recover and gain points for the event. Tune is AWD, with rear Forza air, turbo running street tires.
**Seasonal Playground Games | Rail Yard | (C600) Hot Hatch
**Car used: 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto (Autoshow 48,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Games RY / 144 459 610
So, Hot hatch, C class… leaves four choices (one is a hard to find), P.I. values 600, 598, 597, 576, giving barely any room for improvement. Other choice is to back a B class into C class - of which there is only the two choices I feel would work, I chose one of these, the Albarth. On paper, by specs alone the Albarth is better on the important games stats, launch and acceleration - even when de-tuned to C class. However to be honest could not really tell in the event, seems all choices are much the same, tune is competitive nonetheless. Tune is running stock tires (stock almost everything), FWD with rear Forza air (lowest setting).
PR Stunts:
-Strathbridge Speed Zone, 2018 McLaren Senna - ‘So Much Grip’ (921 240 335) by Don Joewon Song,
-Old Town Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two, I used this tune ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), but no tune is needed for this location - sealed road, straight line towards speed trap,
-Mam Tor Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544).
Cheers.
Hi all,
Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal events, plus PR stunts, for those that find such useful. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.
Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability; Off, Gearbox: Auto.
**Championship: “Just in Time” | Road Racing | (S2 998) Hypercars
**Car used: 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder (Autoshow 850,000 Cr)
**Tune: S998 Road Street / 317 380 481
S2 umm… yeah nah. Faster enough, grippy enough, hyber enough - that covers the needed areas. The Porsche is a reasonably easy driver, not too much in the way of unpredictable. What is unpredictable is if the driving line is truly been dynamic or just making stuff up as it goes - got to love it when when the driving line is blue (or not there for how I use it ‘braking only’) on a corner, indicating no need to brake, yet (if practiced enough) your eyes tell you, and the way the car is behaving in the corner tell you you need to slow in this corner, worse if a new inexperienced player, in which case they find out as they slide off the road into whatever/wherever! This issue is much more common in S2, rain only compounds the issue. Tune has all the normal race upgrades possible, and is running Forza Air. - this car is stock as AWD.
**Championship: “New Arrivals” | Road Racing | (S2 998) Modern Supercars from the 2010s
**Car used: 2013 Audi R8 Coupe V10 Plus 5.2 FSI Quattro (Autoshow 290,000 Cr)
**Tune: S2 Max No Swap / 143 682 183
And S2 again … bleh … Anyway. Had a little trouble with this event as the A.I. was playing the ‘I have a million grip, no need to brake’ game… unless you are near them, at which point they do brake or slide out in the corners (on occasion slide right off into the wilderness!) - however tune can/will beat the A.I. Tune is running upgraded stock engine, no engine swap, hence tune is not at the top of S2, speeds/accelerations do match other S2 opponents, twin turbo, Forza rear air, with wide-body kit.
**Championship: “Pulling Power” | Cross Country | (A800) Extreme Offroad
**Car used: 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck (Autoshow 500,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 637 166 137
Smooth cross country car, predictable in behavior, good grip on the wet ground - and quite good in water, which is helpful for the events in this championship. Tune is AWD, engine swapped for the 6.2L V8.
Enjoy.
I had another wacky time in the trial. I was way ahead in my ‘92 golf, for the first two races. None of my teammates where ahead of the first three drivatars. I thought “maybe people will quit. I’ll stick around” as my team was getting killed.
After crossing the finish line, and after seeing the result screen, all of a sudden everyone passed four out of six drivatars. Not sure if someone corner-bombed multiple drivatars or if the drivatars decided to fly off the track again, at the end.
Either way, one of the more strange experiences.
Possibly it’s not a bug. In the Trials, times and finishing positions may be of secondary importance. Points are awarded on passes/overtakes and if, for example, a drivatar starts 10 metres ahead of you and at the finishing line is 5 metres ahead of you, it’s not logical for the drivatar to be awarded points for overtaking you. It could be argued that you should get the points. At the end of the trial an adjustment process takes place and all the videos of trials which appear puzzling I have seen can be explained by this process.
Have a look at this (should start at 4:30):
You can see there are 3 drivatars right behind me. I cross the line at 4:41 timestamp. The first drivatar finisher is 8 seconds later, 4:49 timestamp. A human who wasn’t visible on the radar beats all 3 of those drivatars that can be seen on the radar.

Nice driving breeminator. You make it look easy.
My previous post started “Possibly it’s not a bug…”. This also implies that possibly it could be a bug in which case there’s no need to read any further.
Also “…times and finishing positions may be of secondary importance.”
What would be helpful would be videos from other cars, the ability to measure distances rather than times and a comment from a PG programmer on the adjustments which take place at the end of a race which a player cannot see.

The length of a centenario is 4924 mm (4.924 metres) or 193.86 inches (16.155 feet)
The starting grid consists of pairs of cars in 6 rows with approximately 2 and a half car lengths (40 feet) between each row.
At 99% complete benfash123 on the Blue Team is fifth with Herobrine1910, Tankure, and LichtRahmen2537 on the Red Team being ahead.
However at the start Herobrine1910 and Tankure were on the first row, LichtRahmen2537 on the second row and benfash123 on the fourth row.
Provided benfash123 is less than 120 feet from Herobrine1910 and Tankure and 80 feet from LichtRahmen2537 at the end of the race, benfash123 should be awarded second place.

That’s a long standing bug, I think it only happens for street scene events. You can finish with drivatars right behind you, but they don’t finish after you’ve finished.
This weird drivatar behavior mostly occurs in street races. When I did the Trial yesterday we should have lost the first race because even with me blocking the AI the first teammate was on 6th.
Because of me blocking the AI they were immediately behind me. When I crossed the line they should have followed instantly. But no, two teammates came in 2nd and 3rd, although being behind more than 8 seconds. Thus, we won the race.
What I don’t know is if the AI piles up at the finish line or if they actually cross the line and the game only has problems acknowledging it.
Since its not present to this extent in road, dirt and C-C I also think it is a bug. A bug to our advantage but this can’t be an intended function.
The AI vanishes at the finish line (I’ve parked at the side before to see what happens) but doesn’t get classified as having finished. Definitely a bug and arises in a large proportion, but not all, street races trials.
