Ok @EZT TomCat7
Tune for the 2008 BMW M3 is up.
Not perfect, but give it a try to see if it suits you.
I did some 1.49.xx laps in the ´05 M3 as a benchmark.
Then took the 2008 out to see what I can do with it. The build on the ´08 M3 is quite nice, been playing around with the tune and managed to get down to low 1.48.xx where 1.47.xx are possible for me.
It is quite stable, but the final two slow corners are a matter of throttle control. It has more power, more top end and more acceleration than the ´05 and for sure it is quicker around this track.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks, I’ll be trying it as soon as I can get my grandson off the Xbox.
Meanwhile I set my best lap time in the '02 Anniversary Camaro at 1:46.407. on the Daytona Short Night track.
I tried your tune for the '08 BMW M3 and got a 1:47.6. the tune is great all around, but would need a little more speed to beat the '02 Camaro .
You can go into the Rev zone a lot longer in the Camaro. to get higher top speed in 5th gear for Stock Trans.
My best in the '02 Camaro is 1:46.3, where the top time for the track is now at 1:42.908 by “Chronic 957”

Thank you for running the car and the feedback.
Glad you like it, it’s about .600 faster than the other '08 M3 you tried and more all round and easier to drive. So that is positive feedback.
With that, the '05 M3 for pure grip and the '08 M3 for “medium” work well in this division. What it missing is a dedicated speed build that either is a Camaro or can take on the Camaro on this track. Not sure if I can build something like that before your competition deadline.
If I can I will post it.
In any case, to you and all the guys and girls here:
Best wishes for 2018, in good health and with a bit of luck when you need it.
