Some cars not sellable?

Hi Guys,

I’m seeing different behavior for cars obtained via different methods so want to clear up my doubts. These are the patterns I’m seeing so far…

  1. Level up reward cars with 0 credits - Can sell back to game for 100CR, can sell in auction house
  2. Level up reward cars with some credits - Can sell back to game close to 50%, can sell in auction house
  3. Forza driver’s cup reward cars - Can sell back to game for 100CR, can sell in auction house
  4. Forzathon rewards or league rewards - Can sell back to game close to 50%, can sell in auction house
  5. Gifted cars - These are worst, can’t sell back to game and can’t sell in auction house
  6. Specialty dealer cars - Can’t sell back to game, can sell in auction house

While I can understand the logic behind 1 - 4, I don’t understand the 5 and 6 behavior. Question is,

  1. Is there any way I can make some money from the gifted cars when I already have them? Or simply it’s impossible and need to delete away?
  2. Why I can’t sell back the specialty dealer cars since I paid credits for them?

Your right, that’s pretty much how it works. I don’t understand the logic in it.

I think you should be able to auction any car no matter how received.

And If it doesn’t sell the game can offer to buy it for 25% of showroom value.

Also, being able to filter duplicates in your garage would be good also.

I saw this in known issues…

• Some players are unable to sell or auction cars that were gifted to them.

Hopefully they will fix it before they stop supporting the game… Behavior with Specialty dealer cars, I have no idea. But it’s not something I care a lot because I buy from SD only when I don’t have that Car so mostly I’ll not be selling that again…
