I knew there were problems with achievements some months ago, but I understood that had been sorted out. I’m trying to collect some outstanding achievements on FM5 and I’d really really like to get that Rarified Air achievement, including the Snake Bite one. This unfortunately will not unlock. I can do whatever I want. I already beat a Ferrari in Career mode with the Cobra, I’ve beaten it in Free Play, I’ve beaten it in a local multiplayer.
Any of you guys figured out what to do do get it or what’s causing the problem?
Sometimes it seems like the servers simply don’t register things. I know when saving a tune/paint file and trying to share, it’ll kick a try later and I immediately repeat and it goes through?
Try a hard shut down and run a quick free play of the race, see if it triggers?
Guys. This is embarrassing. Thank you, funky dunk 1977 for thinking about this, cos I was clearly too silly to do so. Sorry for taking your guys time, I just *%?§(& didn’t see there were two of’em, I always took for granted the 427 was the only one in the game. Well, that’s a great ‘mystery’ solved then. I’m gonna bury myself somewhere now.
No problem Ekko - we all have the odd special moment. At least this was an easy fix unlike some of the issues others have been having with things like the Rewards program and Badges and Titles messing up and I couldn’t for the life of me remember seeing anyone else having this issue (aside from the not connected to Live that Achievements on XB1 requires) so thought you may have misread the description. Both are great cars to use anyway
