Every few skill songs I will get one that doesn’t actually show a skill multiple. The song is announced and when it ends it is claimed that it was a skill song. I do not receive any extra points.
Anyone else having this issue?
I’ve actually had this happen quite a bit. Probably about 1/2 of the time I hear a Skill Song. Since it’s only skill points and not XP, I really don’t care about it. If I was missing out on XP I’d be a bit more upset, but I have so many banked skill points it just doesn’t matter to me.
Come to think of it, I’ve had a few Skill Songs as well where I get the multiplier for the first chain, but any after that (during the song) are normal, and not multiplied.
Not sure if you’ve noticed but the multiplier is variable - even within a single skill song it’s going up and down. At least it does for me.
Right, but I don’t have the pink color or the skill song name at the top, just normal skill points… Glad to hear it’s not just me… Seems like it’s been happening more and more.

This happens quite often for me too. The whole skill song thing seems a bit buggy… have you ever jumped a danger sign when one’s playing? For me it messes up the timing of the song every time. Once one had just started on the run up to the jump, and immediately dropped to 10 seconds remaining after the slow-mo bit. Another time the jump reset the timer to 1:10 remaining,every time, so could have gone round and round in circles for an endless skill song.
