I know it will be hard for some, but for one seven-day period as many people as possible need to just not play. AT ALL, don’t log in, don’t even start the game. Playtime analytics will hit the basement and maybe, just maybe someone will wake up. 99.99% probability they won’t, but who knows.

Get their attention for what? Apart from the game now being pretty stale it works ok for me. If you’re a completionist like me I have to complete the Festival playlist 100% every week so going without for a week is not an option.

What’s the likelihood of coordinating a gamers strike with “20 million” other players when most players can’t even work together in the trial lol.

Jeez, wouldn’t be hard for me. I pretty much get on every Thursday to collect the new car and drop off and play NFS or CoD for the rest of the week. I’m onboard if everyone else is

Precisely. That, and I’m pretty positive that the actually player numbers are probably more like 4 million with Xbox, PC, and Steam combined (and even then, I feel like I’m being way too generous). There’s no way 20 million players would all still be playing a game that is almost a year old. At this point, dedicated fans and casuals who play the game every few months likely compose the entirety the player numbers.

My guess based on various things like HWs leaderboards is that this game has between 40-80k active users. That is the number of users playing on average each week.

Interesting stats for sure. Chances are, most of the “20 million players” are likely just casuals trying out new stuff for a day and moving on, or people who played this buggy mess on Day one and thought “WTH is this?”. Thanks for going in and doing the math, those are interesting numbers.

For sure. The vast majority of players will be gamepass subscribers who could play the game for free as part of their Xbox subscription.

As we all know “20 million” users is nothing but fuel for marketing. Just like how IGN awarded this game of the year.

What really matters is the number of active users. Well you would hope so but in reality this game in a single player multiplayer game. So regardless if there’s 10 players or 10 million players your experience in the game will be much the same.

I’m already doing this stop for a week thing…and I’m betting I’m not the only one. Every Thursday for about an hour I log in to complete the weekly challenges, obtain the 2 cars on offer (delete the one I already have) and go on about the rest of my week. It’s not so hard…lol.

My Forza week consists of:

  • Do the Trial. I used to do this multiple times but sadly it’s now generally dull as ditchwater, so I do it once for the 10 points;

  • Do sufficient easy tasks to get 20 points for the new car - in fairness, this has improved because they’ve fixed coop championships. I usually just do the Pr stunts and 1 or 2 coops and 20 points is achieved. I then don’t go near the playlist again;

  • Play rivals. This is now pretty much the only thing I do in fh5 after the 30 minutes or so to clear the above. With no ranked mode and the trial having no repeatability, it’s the only thing that adds longevity to the game.

Personally I am doing Goliath on Manual Gears, and it seems a bit better. So practicing manual, and next I might try clutch if I can figure out how to do it with one button press.

You and millions more I’m sure. That is part of why the OP idea will never work. They already have play analytics saying the same thing a “strike” would do. Had it been done in Series 0, maybe even Series 1 it might have had some impact, but I doubt that was ever in the cards despite the complaints even then.

Honestly, after today’s update stream, Playground Games isn’t interest in what anyone has to say if doesn’t give them social credits.

My FH5 consists of doing quick challenges to get 20 pts in the weekly chore list, and then drifting for the rest of the time I play
