About this car:
Naturally, as soon as the Hot Wheels pack came out, I had to get my grubby little fingers on this new 'stang. It’s been a particularly fussy diva to tune, however, and I’ve been indecisive about the paint - but it’s quite a rewarding feeling to get it going the way I want it to, and looks rather nice doing so. Despite that, this is just as finicky a car as the FF 350Z, which is unsurprising considering the fact that it comes tuned out of the box.
In terms of internal work, the regular race tuning has been applied - upgrading various parts in an attempt to get the car’s tremendous grip to something manageable while also ensuring that it doesn’t crawl through the corners so much as angrily screeches at the redline.
Onward to the looks of the car. I’ve done a few different paints for this car, and while I am still looking for an aesthetic that really works, this is the best I can currently scrounge up with my meager skill level at painting. Due to the unique rim choice, I’ve also opted to keep them as well.
This build is nowhere near finished, unfortunately; consider it a snapshot of a work in progress. There are still some strange issues to work out (it grips up when I let off the throttle like nothing I’ve ever seen) and I would like to eventually craft a comp-spec version at some point in the future, perhaps with one of the various engine swaps that are available as well. Of course, I do intend to use it regularly, as I have to learn how to use it properly!
By the way, if you enjoyed reading this, check out the Okami No Ichigun team thread! It’s where I’ve posted quite a few more of these garage features for various cars - Porsches, Subarus, and Nissans and whatnot!

About this car:
Originally an experiment after having my mind poisoned by fantasies of Ryan Tuerck’s 2J-powered Scion/Subaru/Toyota thing, this has developed into a rather capable competition car. While not quite matching the 350Z in terms of refinement, it is getting rather close; some more work is needed on really dialing in the suspension for less throttle work to keep it at proper counter lock, so on so forth.
In terms of internal work, the regular race tuning has been applied - upgrading various parts in an attempt to get the car’s tremendous grip to something manageable while also ensuring that it doesn’t crawl through the corners so much as angrily screeches at the redline. For this particular car, the single turbo has been installed, but may not stay for long - each time I drive it I get irritated with the turbo lag and then go back to the original TT setup; only to bounce right back to the single turbo for the horsepower benefit.
Onward to the looks of the car. The paint for this car came from a very unlikely source, being a dream! Believe it or not, I had apparently recieved this for my birthday, but never even got to drive it before I woke up. I figured I’d make up for that terrible misfortune by recreating it in Forza instead!
This build is nowhere near finished, unfortunately; consider it a snapshot of a work in progress. There are still some strange issues to work out (low RPM tends to make the car throw its hands in the air in complete frustration) but nonetheless, I am pleased with the current progress.
Thanks for reading! If you enjoyed it, feel free to check out the Okami No Ichigun team thread - it’s where I post most of these little garage features, and will have some team-specific ones there as well!
