Hello sound team,
The 1967 Shelby GT 500 has audio issues that we would like to see fixed.
——
Missing carburetor sounds. For carbureted versions. Some folks might swap to efi versions.
•1st person or bumper, dash and cockpit view is missing the carburetor sounds here’s a clip for an example.
Good video of carburetor sounds.
- This sound should apply to all carbureted v8 vehicles. Be able to hear it on all views and replay also.
- extremely low idle sound volume / not authentic in all views.
- Pdsc there is very little sound if any at all
- Centrifugal supercharger there is very little sound if any at all
- Engine does not lope or have that choppy idle after installing cams
- Engine lopes or has choppy idle after exhaust upgrade… should be after cam upgrade.
- Quick flip on and off the gas get the rpm’s around 1500-2000rpms the whole exhaust pop sounds like something rolling around in the mufflers very annoying sounds terrible! Engine sounds fake.

The exhaust, each upgrade should just increase the sound level - 10-20 decibels in all views. This should apply to any car… usually 80-100 sound decibels around the car.
After some investigation of YouTube and real life camera footage, the car does not sound authentic in the game. Can you please fix this at your convenience. Hope this helps.
Thank you.
