Based on Fiat 124, this Seat is yet another version of beloved Italian boxy sedan.
Fiat was selling licences for it to multiple European countries.
There were various versions of 1430, but the coolest one was Seat 1430 Especial 1600 with 8 valve DOHC 1.6 engine making a whooping 94 hp. It weighs nothing more than 960 kg
I know it does not sound like a much in comparison to today’s market, but back in its time it was high figure for working class hero car.
It definitely could give Renault 8 Goridini run for the money.
