SeasonedGamers Touring Car Series

SeasonedGamers.com and SRN Motorsports would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming Touring Car series, taking place on Sunday evenings at 9pm eastern. The season starts on September 11th, and will continue for 10 weeks, with two short races per evening. This is primarily a team based event, and while running on a team is not required, I will try to make sure everyone is on a team who wants to be, so feel free to sign up even if you’re running solo. There are 16 different cars to choose from, and each team will run one manufacturer exclusively, determined through a lottery system taking place on August 14th. We only have room for 6 more teams, so if interested please sign up quick!

To sign up, see the schedule, car list, and rules, please visit SeasonedGamers.com

Also, here is a link to one of our previous races, when we ran Trans Am earlier this year. All races are broadcast live on Resident Elvis’s youtube page.

Friendly bump for some good clean racers.

This might be helpful for teams looking to sign up for the series. Be patient after signing up for the forum. The process for weeding out spam over there is 100% robust but it delays allowing legitimate sign ups the ability to make posts.

If anyone wants to sign up and needs livery help I have some cool designs that haven’t been claimed by a team and would work on any car that can be seen in the sign up thread linked above.

I joined this group at the beginning of the year for a very well run Trans Am series. This upcoming Touring Car series will be my third with them. Great group of competitive clean drivers. Forza 6 was the first sim type racer I’ve played and I’ve learned / improved quite a bit since I joined the weekly race events. Sign up soon so you don’t miss the Car draft

I couldn’t sign up but if likento

It takes a while for your account to get cleared and verified by the admins (usually a couple days or so) but the community over at SG is both competitive and friendly; I joined up at the end of last year and run a couple events a week with these guys

CharlieSideWayz, if you have already registered over at SeasonedGamers.com, then check your email and spam folders. There will be a confirmation email waiting for you after a day or so.

Car draft is the 14th, so if you don’t want to be stuck with whatever’s left, make sure you’re registered by then.

Hi
Are u allowed to run traction control in this series?

No, we run no Traction Control or Stability Management in most of our series. I understand it can be a steep learning curve for those not used to running without those assists, but ultimately you will faster without them.

Also, if you look at the sign up link you will see that the cars are limited to 300 HP by the rules. So, it isn’t like you need some difficult to drive 900 HP that really needs TC to be competitive. It really should be a pretty manageable power level even without using TC. Given that 13 out of the 16 cars are FWD stability control is also mostly a non issue.

Mid week bump

The car draft for teams is two days away. If you are considering joining the series, now is the time. With the performance balancing of the cars it might not be such a huge deal anyway but if there is some car you have a preference for signing up soon is the only way to have a chance at ensuring you getting it.

Car draft is complete, and the remaining cars are available on a first come first served basis for teams and individual drivers.

Don’t let the fact you missed the car draft deter you from joining. All the cars are competitive. A prime example of this is that a team I paint for asked me to hold off because they might switch to an undrafted car! LOL.

Plenty of spots available; teams of 3 and solo drivers are all welcome!

Series starts Sunday night. Still time to get in on the action for the start of the season!
