I was playing some ranked adventures and was looking at the pop up before each race that tells you the gamertags and the cars they were using. I saw one guy had a Ford Capri FE, but he was only Rank 11. I thought the rewards haven’t been distributed yet. How is it possible?
It was put up in the Fortzathon shop for a very short period around the end of Nov. They are out there, just extremely rare.

And even that short period of time when it was forzathon shop it didint show up for anybody, for example i didint see capri then. But that’s why those can really rarely found in auction house and some guys even sold those in ebay.
It was in the forzathon shop for less than 15min, then replaced by the car it should have been. Unless you logged in for the first few minutes of the change on the right servers you were out of luck. They do go in the auction house, but it’s fastest fingers first. They sell within seconds as globally there is always someone looking for one. Only reason for someone to sell is they are trying to gift to a mate or real world cash / ebay. I’ve caught a rare glimpse.
not completely sure but i think the ford capri fe was also in forzathon before game release and also for 15 min or 1 hr before a patch day
ithe auction house does not allow you to sell the cars for the actual value
so pretty much all the rare cars are traded for real world cash
if you decide to go down that road keep this in mind there is a high chance of getting scammed or someone else sniping the car before you buy it
