I have a same problem, no rival chalanges, and no mini leaderboards. i tried to reinstall the game, but not solved my problem.
I have also been experiencing this issue. I have reinstalled twice, and tried restating from my wife’s profile to no avail. I think it’s something with the server. But this is the only thread I can find on the whole Internet with anyone else complaining about the leaderboards. The mini leaderboards were my favorite part. I sure hope someone from turn 10 reads this and can shed some light on the situation.
The Rivals events are hosted and maintained by the Forza servers. Give it time and the issue will be corrected.
Yeah its aint been working for a week now, so come Easter should be up and running

Same issue here, in France.
Could it be linked to the christmas hack ?
The same here in Germany since many days.
Seems there is no interest anymore in Forza 5 since Horizon 2 is out.
At least a message could be sent out whats going on to avoid people try to solve it with
new installations or anything else without any impact.
