Reynard 02S

In the early 2000s, Reynard went bankrupt while the 02S project was underway.
In 2002, IRM, which had bought the baby, entered into a partnership with Zytek, which had already supplied the engine, and became a manufacturer in its own right.
This marked the start of Zytek’s adventure as a manufacturer, in a bid to carve out a place for itself in proto racing.
The DBA 03S chassis became the Zytek 04S, and evolved into the 05S and 06S until 2006, before the arrival of a new chassis with the 07S.
Depending on the different regulations, there are two different engines, one for LMP1 regulation and the other for LMP2.
In 2007, a new chassis is built with the 07S, which will become GZ09S following the merger between Zytek and Ginetta in 2009.
The Mansells, father and son, will be seen again at the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours in the 09S #5 Beechdean-Mansell motorsport.
Then came the Z11SN in 2011, before Zytek was bought out by Gibson in 2014, who took over with the 015S, the last of the series.
Between the 04S and the 015S, Zytek, Ginetta-Zytek and Gibson has scored a big number of class wins, both in the various championships in which it has competed and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with several victories in the LMP2 category in 2011 and 2014.
Why have it on forza motorsport ?
Zytek was part of the motorsport landscape for 15 years between 2000 and 2015.
I think Forza needs more open prototypes and race cars from the 2000s to 2015.
This would make an additional open prototype that would fit in well with the LMP1 or LMP2 category.
It’s also a car that’s rarely seen in video games.
