With FH6 set in Japan, the perfect opportunity exists to make Crews a core element of the game — smaller/more exclusive, persistent player teams built around racing, drifting, and touge culture.
Core idea:
Players can create and join Crews with names, tags, and custom logos. Crews would compete in seasonal leaderboards across races, drift runs, touge challenges, and festival events.
Key features:
Crew creation with identity (tag, colors, emblem).
Roles: Owner / Officers / Members.
Seasonal Crew vs Crew competition with ranked divisions & rewards.
Crew XP unlocks perks (larger roster, exclusive crew liveries, ect.) banners, and cosmetics.
Drift + touge-focused events that tie directly into Japan’s car culture.
Why it fits FH6:
Japan’s rich street and drift culture makes team-based play natural. Crews extend the Horizon Festival vibe into long-term goals, social rivalries, and unique content — while keeping everything balanced and fair.
The payoff:
Stronger community bonds.
Seasonal excitement and bragging rights.
Help add to the progression of the game that so many players have been begging to be improved.
Endless content for players, streamers, and eSports-style events.
I also personally think this would help keep players engaged and interested in the game over a longer period of time!
Form a Crew, take the touge, master the drift, and rise through Crew Seasons — making FH6 the most social and competitive Horizon yet!
yeah i knew there was somewhat of a system for it in fh5 but a big revamp on the system and making it a core part of the game would be really awesome especially considering its japan!
Not to rain on your parade, but I really don’t think this suits Horizon as much as you think it does. While Horizon does have street racing, it’s become increasingly sanitized overtime, and I really don’t see a concept like crews working in a festival racer.
Street racing and drifting have always been, for the lack of a better term, side missions in Horizon games, and while I get that it reflects the actual car culture of Japan better, I think this highlights a core problem Horizon 6 is going to face in the future: community expectations.
As much as I want Horizon to either evolve, or bring back core elements from the very first game, I don’t think whatever Horizon 6 will bring to the table is going to be that much different from prior games. Horizon 5, for instance, really did a terrible job capitalizing on Mexico’s rich history of the Baja 1000 and the Carrera Panamericana. They both got mentioned, but were otherwise poorly represented.
As much as I would hope that Japanese car culture is going to be well-represented in Horizon 6, I’m definitely going into the game with low expectations, at least until we hear and see more.
Its great if it kind fit the story progression you brat the ai clans make a great story behind them imagine uou can beat midnight racing club thats will be epic
