This was Renault’s Attempt at breaking the stranglehold on the middle class, held by BMW and Mercedes
It didn’t really work out for them though, this is the Biturbo variant with twin-turbos (as the name suggests) that was tuned by Hartge (of BMW fame), with design enhancement by Irmscher (of Opel fame) and it was sold by Renault, 802 were made
