Rookie here. I’ve purchased a few cars now from the auction house. A few of the cars have red lines around the outer lip of the rims. Changing the rims doesn’t change the line (it shows on all of them) and I can’t seem to paint the rims more than one solid color. Am I missing something really obvious here. I’ve done some searching but can’t find an answer.
The red line is actually on the tire, not on the rim. It is a new tire compound added in the Hot Wheels Expansion.

It could be the new Hot Wheels Racing Tires but there is also a way to paint your rims two-tone with one color for the center of the rim and an additional color for the outer lip.
Use the Rotiform Nue Rims and use one of the two-tone paint options, I believe the Metal Flake option, can’t quite remember at the moment.
The Rotiform Nue rims are the only ones I believe you can achieve this effect with painting.
