For the first time i have noticed the names above the cars while during a race, does this mean that those ppl are on line racing at the same time? if so, can they see me race would this be considered live?
Unless you’re doing multiplayer races then no, you’re racing against AI (drivatars) in single player races. The names above these cars are the gamertags of your online friends or just random people.
