Questions to Streamers/Devs that are already playing the game

Hey to all the streamers and Devs out there.

In Case, that you guys got Early Access before the 28th to the Game… here are my few Questions

  1. Season… In What Season are you in? Will this season be changed before the Ultimate Players can Start or will the Season continues? And if it will be changed… when is the time for it?
  2. Forzathon… Same Questions… is it available? If yes… what about the Shop… will it be changed aswell with season changing? What opportunity you had to buy?
  3. Same with Weekly Forzathon Challanges… What was in it…
  4. Same with Ranked Team Adventure…Is this feature unlocked yet? If so… When does the Season Ends?

  1. We’re currently in Fall/Autumn but that is due to change early Thursday. If I’m not mistaken, time will actually go backward so that early release opens in Summer.

  2. Forzathon Live has been available now for several days as has the Forzathon Shop. I’ve done a half dozen Forzathons and have spent points buying the FE car available currently available in the shop. Forzathon Live is due to change on Thursdays as well with the change of seasons.

  3. Daily and Weekly Forzathon challenges are live as well now and they’re all of a similar sort to what we’ve seen in the past. Do X with Y to get Z.

  4. Did a Team event last night with a couple of the other moderators but Ranked Team Adventures are not unlocked as yet. I don’t really know this sort of thing is going to work so can’t say much more about it right now.

Could you please advise the follwing:

Are circuit/point to point routes (apart from the three big ones) still mostly too small? Or are there more varied lengths now? This was a major gripe for me (and many others) in Horizon 3

Can you still set long races up to 99 laps in Blueprint. I loved this feature as it helped somewhat with the ridiculously short circuit races.

Question about unlocking cars: do the unlocked cars become available in the Autoshow? Or you only get one?
Hopefully they become available in the Autoshow, otherwise prices will be insane in the auction house for not so special cars (ie the Huracan)…

Hieronymus is correct.

The streamers and reviewers are getting a preview of what everyone else will experience starting with Early Access on Sep 28th: Summer, followed by Autumn. So, on Sept 28th, it will be Horizon Summer again.

You’ll get about an hour per season in your first “Horizon Year” playing what Playground calls the Prologue. All the players you see online during the prologue are players who are in the same stage as you (though you can invite players into your game who have advanced beyond that point, and you can play Team Adventure with anyone once you’ve completed your first Autumn race).

Once you start your second Horizon Summer (should take about 4-5 hours for most players to reach this point), you’ll be on the same shared seasons as everyone else playing the game. Then, this is your second Horizon year:

Summer starts: 28-Sep-2018
Autumn starts: 5-Oct-2018
Winter starts: 12-Oct-2018
Spring starts: 19-Oct-2018

Does AI experience mechanical damage when you have simulation damage on? I’m asking because on cross country events the AI was invincible on high jumps while the player’s vehicle would be completely destroyed by the end of the race.

Come by tonight and we’ll find out.

Though, to be fair, I expect we’ll learn very quickly that AI is all but invincible.

Do we see the return of clubs like in FH3? Asking for my fiance… and myself.

… and enemies.

May be able to throw the Dhali Llama’s name in there too.

Clubs are now done through Xbox Live.

The other moderators and I are in a club named [MODS], currently the highest ranked club with less than 10 members. Also the smartest, best looking, and the most fun of all the clubs known to man.

So we’ve got that going for us.

So, no in game xp credit then for clubs? or club tags in game?

Can any of you tell me if there is a petrol station you can visit in the game, so far from all the gameplay I’ve seen I’ve not come across ome

Clubs do fully function with the game itself, there’s a club tab you can visit to see leaderboards and other information. Not sure about what if anything it pays out but club tags do indeed appear in game and there’s icons to indicate club membership and club leader.

The world of Horizon functions without the need for fuel so there are no petrol stations.

Whew, ok, I was wondering, because if you use regular microsoft live clubs, well, people can be in multiple clubs, and that takes away from compettion. Also, I have some bad news for you . When my club comes in, we will take the best looking and smartest tags… well, at least best looking. :wink:
