I recently purchased the Hot Wheels Expansion Pack at a discounted price during the christmas sale.
Now the question is: What happens when you buy the Expansion Pass when you already own one of that (whether you already have either Blizzard Mountan or Hot Wheels purchased)?
Any idea?
Its pointless to buy it once you already have bought one of the expansions separately
You would just be paying extra for nothing
There is no rebate for already owning one of them
Unless the pass is cheaper than buying one of them separately
If you buy the expansion pass it gives you both Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain.
If you already have one expansion (in your case, Hot Wheels), you would get access to the other expansion with the Expansion Pass. So it comes down to whether buying Blizzard Mountain by itself is cheaper than the Expansion Pass. Things go on sale, so buy whatever is cheaper at the time.
But you don’t get a discount/refund if you buy the Expansion Pass when you already own one Expansion.
I had a similar situation. I bought an Xbox One S last year bundled with a code for Hot Wheels, but no unfortunately FH3 base game. I also grabbed Blizzard Mountain cheap when on sale.
I’ve been waiting until this week for FH3 Standard to go on sale and it finally did, 35% off. Other FH3 deals have come and gone, but since I already owned the expansions, they weren’t as good value in my situation. So I’ve been playing FH4 on Game Pass until now…
