Quattro Power Showcase Event - Win by 300+ Meters doesn't work

So I’ve done this event three times and every time I finish well over 1000 meters in front, the box is checked blue indicating I’ve accomplished the objective, but then on the scoring screen after the race where it shows completed objectives and points earned the Win by 300+ meters is always unchecked.

Anyone else having the issue with this showcase?

Not this event, but same problem with the “stay on track” objective in the recent AMG GT S event. It worked the day after when I tried it at a higher difficulty, but no idea if that was what fixed it or something was corrected or just un-glitched. It seems to be a recurring issue, anyway.
