PTG Jamie's tune list

Hello mate!

Just did your A Class Vantage V12 no areo grip tune a test in Brands Hatch… It has great mechanical grip and agility.
As a first test in a track with different elevation corners, I really enjoyed. The weight transfer is very controled, which allows to keep the car balanced even on the slower corners. But still some throttle control is required on the lower gears. Some body roll is still present, which allows to “throw” the car rear, making it faster cornering much easier…

Overall the tune is very good to the intention is done for (Grip). Of course the aero would make even stick to the road more, but as í’m a fan of keeping the car stock, your tune gets the best from it…

Gonna do some more testing in other tracks asap…

Thanks and chat soon!

PS: If I may, on your tune list a column with the tune objective (Grip, Drift, Lobby, etc…) would be a valuable add…

First off thanks a lot CKarLCB for stopping in and downloading one of my tunes. I am glad that you have found the Vantage to be to your liking. I have received a lot of feedback on that car so far. I personally like to rely more on the mechanical grip. I really enjoy tuning, and I like to tune cars by keeping their stock look. I like showing up in lobbies with a normal looking car built to be run. I have a a good number of tunes on my list that are without aero. I would encourage you to try some more of them out and please provide me with some more feedback.

In regards to the spreadsheet itself. I already do have a few columns stating what the tunes are good for. I am not sure if you are viewing the list on a phone, tablet etc-. If you are viewing the list on a laptop or other computer you should be able to see all of the columns at the same time. The columns are, make, year, model, class, aero?, stock appearance, purpose and drive type. Within the purpose column I have it filled in with race or drift. Anything race would mean that it is a grip intended tune all around. Please get back to me if there is something more that I can do for you. Thanks again.

TY! I do have some more tunes of your list to test asap… Mainly those with the aero stock. Downloaded the tune sheet for an easier search… Will leave feedback of them soon as I try them…

Speaking of the spreadsheet, I was looking the file on an Ipad, that’s why wasn’t showing up some columns… On the PC it shows up all and the info I was refering to (race or drift)

Many thanks once again.

Chat soon.

Keep up the good work!

Would like to see a couple more d-class cars if possible.

I feel like a fool asking this, but when I open the spreadsheet I don’t see the tuning settings, can anyone direct me? -_-

They are not on the spreadsheet - Only Jamie has access to them.

The spreadsheet shows a list of tunes Jamie has made available in-game via the tuning section.

To get one of these tunes, buy the car it’s for and head over to the tuning section on the main game menu. From there, do a search on creator i.e. “SP01LED JAM1E”. This will bring up the tune for you to download. I would also suggest you select the option to “follow creator” which will make it easier to find more tunes from Jamie.

First of all thanks to all of you who have chosen to download my tunes and provided me with feedback. There are a lot of great tuners out there to choose from. As some of you may know I really try to focus on what tunes I have been asked to provide by all of you. I also try to make sure that my no aero tunes act just as well as the tunes that have aero. I get a lot of feedback on my no aero tunes, and I am really happy to make them for you all to use. There are a lot purist’s out there that love running competitive cars that retain that stock look.

I will create some more D class tunes as well. In the meantime have a look below for the newest tunes added to my list.

Four new tunes have been added to the list.

S800 2008 Dodge Viper ACR = 100% Stock appearance, grip tune. Stock aero. RWD

S800 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia = 100% Stock appearance, grip tune. Stock aero. RWD

C500 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa = 100% Stock appearance. A little loose but fun. No aero. RWD

B600 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa = 100% Stock appearance. A bit tighter then the C class tune and still fun. No aero. RWD

Thanks again for stopping in.

What brake pressure setting do you use? If i could give one constructive critique, I find that I have a little bit of a hard time braking with your cars. I am either not braking enough or I lock them up. Could just be that your setup is different than what I’m used to.

Do you play with a controller or on a wheel? I have both. I test my tunes with both. The brake pressure is adjusted stronger on some cars than it is on others. Sometimes this is done to the weight of the vehicle. But I mostly adjust the tunes down to how the car feels. I use the brake markers on the tracks as well.

One of my methods for braking is done at Monza. After coming out of Parabolica and down the front straight towards Variante I start to brake just after the first marker on the left. If I can brake strong enough in order to get through Variante after coming in hot without locking up I adjust it from there. However since playing FM6 I have also noticed that some cars tires squeal as if they are locking up but they aren’t after watching replays and pausing the game to go in to photo mode to look.

Let me know which tunes of mine you are finding it more noticeable on. I will review them again. It could be an issue or it could be exactly as you said and that there is something different that you are not used to. Could you tell me the brake pressure settings that you use? Either way I would love to hear back from you on this.

Thanks for getting back to me. Ive downloaded and driven a lot of different tunes in the last day or two, so the one car i remembered was the s class mustang gt350r. I just drove it a few laps on bathurst again, and it was definitely easier than i had remembered, so a lot of my feedback was probably just my driving.

Still, the brakes felt a little weak at some turns, as i like to push the car a little further before braking. Im a novice tuner, but i think i prefer pressure to be at 120% and maybe higher. My preferred feel is when the trigger is pressed roughly 60% down to achieve maximum smooth braking before any real skidding and burning rubber. The gt350r feels like im pressing down 85 to 90% percent at some hard corners.

Maybe Im driving faster than i realize, since this tune is 2 classes higher than its base tune, so its a little more wild and touchy on the inputs. Your 05 bmw m3 and 2015 camaro z28 tunes are set up perfect for me, with the kind of brake feel that i like, so I dont know what could be different.

Edit: driving the camaro again on bathurst, and the brakes are definitely lower than im used to, but they arent affecting my ability to drive the car. I just had to make a mental note of where the sweet spot on the trigger is.

Edit 2: the 2015 mustang gt is the same as the camaro for me, awesome tune.

I use a controller.

Hey everyone. I am stopping in today to let you know that I will have a good number of tunes that will be entered in to the list tomorrow to get you in to the weekend. Also if you see me online please say hello. A lot of you have caught up with me in the lobbies, and I really appreciate the recognition.

The cars that I will be entering in to the list will include the tunes that I have entered in for some of the tuning competitions within the forum. A lot of people have given me great feedback. For B class there has been one car that stands out that people seem to love. That is the 2005 BMW M3. It has no aero and it retains it’s full stock appearance. Tune name is B600 No Aero. I have recently entered that same tune in to the B class GSW Ring competition. So fingers crossed that it remains competitive among the other great tuners entered in the comp.

Stay tuned for the updates! I think you will all really enjoy the diverse group of cars and classes.

As promised, here are the 8 new tunes added to the list. Keep the feedback coming and thanks a lot for stopping in!

Good I am glad that you see the list in its complete form. Let me know if there is anything else that I can help out with or fine tune with the list. Thanks again for the feedback. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi again Jamie!

I know there are at least 2 reviews already at your thread regarding this particular car, but I gotta say:

That 05 BMW M3 is simply amazing (B600). It feels driving on rails, it’s glued to the track! I’m using it on the Day break series…
It feels like almost cheating! I know the other cars may be faster on the straights, but when I reached the first corner it was bye… bye…

An the car sits so low that my first thought on Mount Panorama was “It’s going to hit the road!”… Totally wrong of me, it mastered those corners and bumps…
Overall the car is incredible, no oversteer and understeer, superb braking and balance, even when you miss the apex, no body roll… Perfectly balanced…

Incredible tune! It may not be a silver bullet (mine is painted silver! :D) but it a cornering magician!

TY and chat soon.

Tried out your 2015 Corvette Z06 s-class for the first time. The sound it makes is monstrous, I love it!

Plenty of speed and cornering make this a very competitive car.

Love this tune. It’s even better than your BMW M3 '05 tune.
