Hello everyone. Some of you may be aware of my tunes and I am sure there are a lot who are not. I have been around the Forza series since it started, and I am looking forward to carrying on through Forza Horizon 3.
Please click on the link below for my complete tune list. I do have the list filtered to make it easier to find the cars and to see how they were tuned. Any feedback is good feedback. I also take requests. Thanks for stopping by.
Glad to see so many people playing FH3. I have 5 new tunes for all of you. Please see the new cars below. For extra details on the tunes please click in to my spreadsheet below. I am glad that you like it! I think it looks really good as well. I have honestly been getting a lot of positive feedback on that car. Something really stands out with that one. I am glad that so many people are having a good time with it. Thanks for downloading and using it.
Here is a quick update on a few more cars that will have shared tunes done and ready later today. Do you have a request? Hit me up in here or over XBOX Live.
I’m curious what you would suggest as the best overall car for your average street circuit/road races for a newer player. I’m playing manual, but it seems like with some of my cars even when I play well, other peoples cars are just “better” lol.
Liking the challenger grips deceptively well considering the hellcat being well a hellcat I wouldn’t mind seeing some sort of rally build for the mini considering the new rally parts for it class doesn’t matter to much
Challenger Hellcat - So much fun. I actually bought this car last night and was going to start messing with the settings on it, but was drunk and gave up pretty quickly, LOL. I did a championship in the city, so there were a couple circuits with plenty of tight corners. It’s abundance of power wasn’t ideal in this situation, but I found that with throttle modulation and using the oversteer paired with the car’s very flat stance I was able to effectively change the angle of the car on corner entry and exit. Very FUN to drive. This car with this tune will surely be one of my top 3 cars I keep going back to.
Lexus LFA - Bought the car, didn’t drive it stock. Immediately downloaded the tune and installed. Ran a circuit out in Yarra Flats. This tune proves that this aging supercar can still throw it down with the top of the class. I was able to put 6 seconds on a pair of the lower end McLarens, despite the cars relative lack of torque. It was almost sinfully easy to drive. I had to fight to get through the pack but once I was out front this thing just ran away, slicing up corners. Very controlled, very precise. Almost cheating it drives so well!
S2000 - Reminds me of the cars I used to see in the old Best Motoring videos. Not a lot of power, but this car sticks and is superbly balanced. I did a circuit race in the city with this one. I hustled the car very hard and found it near impossible to break the rear end loose. When racing with this car it’s best to keep the revs very high. I found avoiding the downshift into corners and using the least amount of braking as possible was the best way to go. After spending the first few days with FH3 playing around with my dream cars, it was nice to get back into something that took me back to my teenage years, running around in the streets until dawn with my Integra Type-R. The sounds, the look, the handling, all top notch. This will be one of my first choices when deciding on a vehicle for a close, tight circuit.
Jeep SRT8 - I’m torn on this one. The on-road prowess is impressive. While I didn’t quite get to 200+ mph, I got damn close. Handling is pretty sharp considering the size and weight of the vehicle. Off-road manners I did not enjoy as much. Seemed much too harsh to be an ideal off-road vehicle. I found the Jeep was getting tossed around and losing grip quite often, rather than soaking up all the ruts and bumps. I’ll still use it, though. I like using an SUV for my head-to-head races. I like being dirty and just cutting across the terrain in a straight line to the objective. Sometimes, however, I end up in a race in a straight line on pavement with a car much more capable than my Range Rover, I usually lose these. I think I’ll start using this Jeep as a substitute for my Range Rover in those situations, but do believe I’ll look elsewhere when considering a vehicle for a primarily off-road event.
EDIT: Still am not able to download any GT86 tunes for some reason.
Thanks a lot everyone. I am really glad to hear that you are enjoying my work. A special thanks to hialeah recon for such an informative write up on the cars and tunes so far. Your opinions and feedback matter to me. I strive to make sure that I meet everyone’s tuning needs. The Horizon world is a lot different to tune and choose cars to tune in. Just due to the fact that no matter what in some races you will end up off road. But I will keep trying.
New cars added last night.
S1900 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe. A little twitchy due to the short wheelbase, fast and ohhhhhh the sound this car makes. (Turn up the volume) Great for open roads.
S1900 2017 Ford Focus RS. This is an AWD monster that is fast and has a fantastic launch with great road manners. Use it for circuit or open roads.
