Welcome to the Pendulum Tuning Grassroots Drift Competition!
The guys at the Pendulum Tuning Garage are holding their first open grassroots drift competition.
The competition will consist of two possible runs. On the 1st run, the driver will be judged on these 3 items in order of importance.
#1- Maintaining the drift. Failing to maintain the drift at any point is considered a 0 score.
#2 - Hitting the clipping points. Each clipping point hit should award more points simply on the fact that they hit them, no matter the angle.
#3 - Style of the drift. Style is judged different by each judge. Speed, angle, and flair all go into the deciding factors for style.
This is not a points competition. Rear entry and 360 entry drifts are allowed and welcomed for style! One tire dropped onto the dirt is allowed but will result in a point reduction. Two tires dropped will result in a 0 score.
Drivers will be given 1 practice run, followed by a scoring run*. If the driver chooses, he may go for a 2nd scoring run. Going for the 2nd scoring run, eliminates the results of the first no matter what the outcome of the 2nd.*
Scoring will be judged on a 1-10 scale. (1 is the lowest, 10 is the highest)
The competition will be held at the historic Indianapolis GP Track on Forza Motorsport 5.
The competition date is - Tentative Date is Friday, November 7th @ 1pm Pacific, 4pm Eastern, 9pm UK.
