Hi, I hope you don’t mind me posting on here? I used to run a successful Forza 4 championship a few years ago and have decided to reboot the series along with a few friends, using Project Cars 2.
I already have a few drivers signed up, but I was wondering if anyone reading this post would like to take part, please? We always used to advertise the series on the Forza Forums in case anyone was interested in joining us, hence the call for entries on here.
We’re using the Ginetta G40 GT5 for our first series and the calendar is below. With the exception of the end-of-season Le Mans race, we’ll run a 15 minute long practice session followed by three 15 minute-long (plus a lap) races each week.
Unless specified otherwise, practice will start at 9pm (UK time) on Thursday nights and we will not wait for latecomers. If you know you can’t make an evening, please let me know in advance.
Fine-tuning cars is allowed and if any incidents occur, these will be investigated after the race by Stephen (chief steward) and myself.
Project Cars 2 allows you to set custom times for sessions. With the exception of Le Mans, the practice session will take place at 8am, Race One at 10am, Race Two at 1pm and Race Three at 5pm.
The weather is set to clear for all races with time progression set to on, as is fuel load depletion, tyre wear and damage.
The calendar:
17 January 2019 – Rounds One, Two and Three – Brands Hatch Indy
24 January 2019 – Rounds Four, Five and Six – Donington Park GP
31 January 2019 – Rounds Seven, Eight and Nine – Snetterton 200
7 February 2019 – Rounds Ten, Eleven and Twelve - Oulton Park Island
14 February 2019 – Rounds Thirteen, Fourteen and Fifteen – Silverstone International
21 February 2019 – Rounds Sixteen, Seventeen and Eighteen – Knockhill International
28 February 2019 – Rounds Nineteen, Twenty and Twenty-One – Brands Hatch GP
7 March 2019 – Round Twenty-Two – Le Mans
The end-of-season Le Mans race will consist of a 30 minute long practice session followed by an hour-long race with a rolling start and mandatory pit-stop. Unlike the other races, the Le Mans event will start at 8pm (game time) to allow us to race into the night.
The calendar is subject to change if I am not around to host races, but I should be able to provide ample warning in the event of that happening.

1st : 10 points
2nd : 9 points
3rd : 8 points

5th : 6 points
6th : 5 points

Cheers.
