Post update lobby drop?

If T10 does read this, in addition to this issue could you please fix lobby stalling when people suddenly decide to use apps while being in a lobby? it stalls the lobby when race loads, boots everyone back to lobby screen and that 1 dude is stuck in loading until he comes back to game. i have a friend who did it to me. And no, they dont get booted for inactivity.

Tried League racing past weekend. It was good for few sessions then I got kicked as the race was just starting. Frustrating.

actually it is very bad. Five lobby connect, four disconnects at first race start, the fifth at second race start. All league lobbies, but think this does not make a diference.

Yeah, last night was the worst yet, like snail I also got kicked on the final lap (about 200 yds from finish line) on Rio mountain loop (but in Ghost E league), full tale of woe below… All from Ghost E league last night, between about 11:15pm and 1:15am UK time. Had no ‘weak network connection’ messages at any time and no problem connecting to multiplayer/sessions, just kept getting booted, every time message was the same small disconnected from session message in top right, followed by the disconnected from lobby message in the middle, kept this log to see if I could spot a pattern…

Overall, I Completed 8 races in 2 hours, and was kicked out of 5 races over the same period, so around 38% of races I got booted, not great :frowning:

Race 1: Lobby 1: Spa, Connected no problem, Won
Race 2: Lobby 1: Rio Mountain, Disconnected on lap 5 of 5 about 200 yds from the finish line, running 2nd at time (new one for me, not suffered disconnect during a race proper before)

Reconnected to new lobby

Race 1: Lobby 2: Rio Mountain, Disconnected in Splash/Loading Circuit Screen (again a new one, not had disconnect here before)

Reconnected to new lobby

Race 1: Lobby 3: Rio Mountain, Won
Race 2: Lobby 3: Sebring, Disconnected pulling away from grid (this is the most common)

Reconnected to new lobby
Race 1: Lobby 4: Alps Stad Rev, 3rd
Race 2: Lobby 4: Yas Marina South, Disconnected pulling away from grid

Reconnected to new lobby
Race 1: Lobby 5: Monza Short, 2nd
Race 2: Lobby 5: LM Bugatti Night, 9th
Race 3: Lobby 5: Road Atlanta Full, 5th
Race 4: Lobby 5: Long Beach Full, 4th
Race 5: Lobby 5: Watkins Glen Short, 5th
Race 6: Lobby 5: Yas Marina Corkscrew, Disconnected pulling away from grid, gave up and went to bed

similar times as you, 11pm to 12.50. Did not keep such an accurate list as you, I just noted races and disconnects as follows
discon, race, race, discon, discon, discon, race, discon , discon, discon, race, discon, discon, gave up.

Looking forward to November 12th.

Thanks for the update on the coming fix Snowowl…much appreciated.

I was about to create a thread about this.

I have not played in about a week. I have had no connectivity issues at all with Forza 6 since the beta, right through launch, and up until the last update which was after my last multiplayer session. That said, I had some issues with FH2 way back but, it was my router. It was on its way out of commission. I have a brand new router and was having a great time. Now every other race I am disconnected from the League Lobby. Something has changed. My first indication was not being able to access any lobbies at all last night. I made no changes to my network since launch. My NAT type used to say open even though my ISP modem/router and my gaming router were not in bridged mode. Again, its been like that since launch. My PlayStation 3, 4, and PC all play multiplayer games without issue. I had to put my ISP modem/router into bridged mode and then my NAT went back to open. All of my other systems play without issue whether my gaming router is bridged or not. Now that I can finally get into a League Lobby I am being disconnected after the start of every other race.

What gives T10? I went from an awesome experience with no internet issues while a small percentage of players experienced issues to having a horrible experience because I can’t race continuously.

Please look into this new network issue that has been created.

Thanks.

Been kicked for the 6ht time this evening, but soon it doesn`t matter anymore, tomorrow Falout 4!

I’ve been kicked a few times. In the top right it says “disconnected from lobby” and the message in the middle says “you have been disconnected due to inactivity” with ok being the only option. This happens while I’m waiting for the next heat in drag.

I remember seeing in the November update that the game will kick you if it detects inactivity. Maybe it’s glitch there?

Kind of suspicious that the “due to inactivity” bug happened right after an update that supposedly fixed the lobby inactivity drivers. Not sure that the Microsoft emulator bug is the whole problem. I guess we will see on the 12th. Betcha we get a little update on the 12th…

Hmm, and even the intended functionality of that seems broken, (I guess it was to stop people sitting on the grid and not racing?) but I wanted to skip one race the other night to make a cup of tea, I put myself in spectator mode and came back to it saying I’d been dc’d due to inactivity (the race I’d chosen to spectate must still have been running, I’d only been gone about 3 minutes!) kind of makes the spectate option redundant if it still kicks you for not racing…

So when can we expect an update to fix this please?

Fix this already!

It does happen about 1 in 4 races…usually it happens when I first start playing, the first two/three races end up getting kicked.

However, tonight was the first time where I almost finished a whole lap then I was disconnected from lobby, so that doesn’t seem like a good scenario.

Think I might just stop playing forever as these frustrations are not worth the effort anymore. I’ll go spend some money elsewhere. I work in IT and these things should be caught before ever making it to production. I’m amazed how code gets moved without proper EnE testing.

Glad I was not the only one this has been happening to … It started after the update and it always occurs for me 5 to 10 seconds after race start. “disconnected from lobby”

Basically, every time I have pole, I’m discoed.

Tried to play past night for the first time since November update - managed 1 full race out of 3 lobbies I connected to before giving up. Getting the same error message as others. Really hope it does relate to the new Xbox live update coming this week as I really don’t fancy waiting until next month’s content update for a basic function like this to be patched.

This is the dumbest part of a update I’ve ever seen.Just like everyone else I’ve been disconnected since the new update has came out, suppossevly for inactivitey while i’m waiting for others to hit the A button, it comes up saying "You have been disconnected from lobby."Then it comes up and tells me"You have been disconnected for inactivity."While I’m waiting to do another race I get kicked because other people can’t hit the the DANG!!! A BUTTON.This happens in League races and drag race rooms never a private lobby does anyone in are rooms get disconnected for anything so we know it’snot the system or internet issues,it just started after this new update.I understand kicking people from a room if they don’t race for atleast 5 heats cause they done feel a sleep or left their xbox sitting, but not be able to make 3 races it’s a joke.Hopefully someone from Forza will see these post and address it for the next update or they will prob lose some good customers. My rants over with, fix the problem Forza.
