PoS Brigade Tunes (16 Cars)

For those who are new to my cars, here’s a breakdown of what I try to do. I take off a much weight as I can, even when upgrading the engine. I someitmes put a Turbo or Twin Screw Super (never the Centrifugal unless it’s only one available), but only when I have enough PPI or need the power. I prefer to have a little Oversteer so I can drift a bit & have fun, but I also build these to handle semi-seriouse racing. Not all of these are as good as they could be, but they’re a good jumping off point. If you have any suggestions for things I could do differently or things I could fix, send me a PM. Would rather clutter my Inbox than get too much hidden in here. Should also make it easier for us to correspond & get the best results. Alrighty then, have fun!

Tried one of your builds, the Land Rover as the others you seem to be still tweaking or not listed. Car drive’s ok, little loose at the back. Unsure what/where you built these for, for me D class relies heavily on keeping your momentum going, yea there’s some balls out speed tracks but most need you to be running smoothly. For me the LR carries quite a bit of weight which results in longer braking distance, a bit of a struggle to accelerate out of sharp corners. Removing the weight for the sake of power obviously reduces your straight line speed but that is more than off-set by shorter braking distance and better cornering.
Ran against one of my ghosts with your build which has a bit of everything added and on that track was about 15 seconds down, re-ran it using a weight loss version and was about 4 seconds down, the track had a bit of everything in it so as not to just favour a lighter or grippier car.
Ran it at one of the Nice off-road tracks and got a 10th on a LB, my personnel feelings are in the low class like D most cars would perform better if the car/s are built with weight loss or grip being the main focus.

Not a pop at your builds just posting my thoughts on the lower classes.

Just wanted to say I use your Stratos tune as my “default” now.

I’ve heard the Stratos drive much like an old 911. I haven’t had the pleasure of driving a Stratos, but I have driven a classic 911 (66 I think). Your build felt the most similar.

Probably because of the way I drive, but it didn’t like cutting corners the way I wanted to. I hit the throttle often hard and early. So I tightened up the springs (around 350 lbs in front I think) keeping the same ratio and loosened the rear Sway Bar Ever so slightly.

Beyond that it’s a great build.

Like I said, probably more me than the build. Awesome job.

Thanks for liking the Stratos & the Trans Am dudes! Was surprised when I saw someone had posted here, and even more surprised when I saw it was praise for not 1, but 2 of my setups. I’ve recently been going over my cars, getting rid of junk & redoing the rest. I might start putting those up this week or the next.
