My gratitude goes out to all of you amazing developers, moderators, and community liaisons for the constant, thankless work you all do. Know that you are bringing joy to our lives and it is much appreciated!
Preface:
As such, to hopefully make your lives easier, I’ve formatted this issue into a complementary guide.
From my understanding of the READMEs in Report New Issues and Car Issues, this issue should fall under the THUB side as it relates to Modeling: “cockpit gauges incorrect information”.
Small issue that, based on my search of Known/Closed Issues, seems to have happened before to other cars, though not sure if exactly in this way.
OS environment/hardware
- PC, Windows 11, minimum specs running medium to high resolution
- AMD integrated GPU, 4GB dedicated VRAM + 12 GB RAM out of 16 GB DDR4
- installed through Xbox app/Gamepass
- no relation to Steam or any other 3rd party platforms (no overlays)
- Logitech G923 Wheel Controller w/H-pattern shifter
Description:
Dashboard first person view; FOV set to highest degree, widest depth of field
- The speedometer’s dial rests at below 0 mph when the car is still;
- The dial moves in a non-linear fashion, with speed indication lagging behind the true speed;
- The gap decreases as the dial’s movement accelerates just enough to cross the 100mph mark with accurate indication;
- At which point the dial continues moving in a non-linear fashion, outpacing the true speed, indicating an increasingly higher nominal speed than actual velocity
Visual Annotation:

Closing Remarks:
Much obliged
I know it’s a small thing, and I appreciate ya’ll even taking the time to consider it.
This is one of my favorite games to play to get away from the world’s problems for a bit, because I love the high level of realism that a “simcade” like this is able to offer. With my wheel, I tend to only use the dashboard camera and no UI elements to immerse myself a little bit. A big part of that for me is the manual with clutch simulation which makes me have to pay attention to the revs and speed ranges like driving manual in real life, which then gives me a feeling of actually driving these cars; responding to the road, controlling the engine power with precision, and all the footwork that goes into it.
So for me, a little goes a long way and I wish I had something more to give back to repay ya’ll for the years of dedication, but you certainly have my gratitude. Thank you and I hope life brings you what you are looking for!
