The fresh champion of Top Gear Speed Week 2022, the GT4 RS is possibly the best Porsche ever. The 500 PS N/A F6 from the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS, shoehorned into the smaller 718 chassis. The more optimal mid-engined layout makes it even more enjoyable than the already amazing bigger brothers. It’s supposed to handle like a dream and sound amazing, too. Only thing that’s missing is a manual gearbox, which won’t be an issue in the virtual world. The next mid-engine entry-level Porsche will be electric, and the legendary flat-6 is going out on top with this one.
It is the hardcore version of the 718 Spyder packed with new aero upgrades and the same 500PS 4.0L natural aspiration flat-six engine found in the 718 GT4 RS mated to a 7-speed PDK, making it capable of hitting 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 308kph.
The new 718 GTS, GT4 and GT4 RS Weissach are the what we need to complete the lineup for this generation. Bear in mind, that the cayman s in game has a 4-cylinder while all the aforementioned are distinctly different 6-cylinder models.
